Please see important notice regarding this season's competition
Due to the recent bad weather, and consequently the high number of fixtures that were postponed, almost a 100 so far, the RCFERCFL Cup Committee, have decided that it will be logistically impossible to fit in the H E Dean Cup in its present form this season.
Most clubs will need to play night League fixtures in April, so closing the dates we normally use for the H.E Dean.
The Cup Committee, sanctioned by the Management Committee of the RCERCFL, have therefore proposed to invite all last year’s League and Cup Winners to take part in a ‘one off’ H.E.Dean Cup for this season only, so as we do not lose the competition altogether.
The clubs concerned have already been invited and they have accepted the invite, and the draw will be made public shortly.
All entry fees already paid for the competition will be retained, and no charge will be made for the Competition next season, 2024/25, when we intend to restore it to its normal format.
We trust you understand the situation , as we must give priority to completing our League fixtures, as well as clubs being involved with the later stages of both our League Cups and ERCFA County Cups.
Kind regards,
Roger
