NEWDIGATE UTD end TRAVS perfect start to top of MARK BLAIR LEAGUE TWO as AMBLESIDE win to take PREMIER LEAGUE top spot.
Leo Franklin hit a double for Ambleside as they edged out Hearty Goodfellow to win 4-3. Matthew Hart and Brandon Hutt scored the other goals for Ambleside who now sit top of ANCHOR INN PREMIER LEAGUE. Rio Ginnelly, Jonno Biddle and Liam Watts scored for Hearty.
Ex-Servicemen Bedworth and Griff and Coton Manor played out a 1-1 draw in TRIPLE R PAINTWORX LTD LEAGUE ONE. Dylan Edwards scored for the Servicemen with Jake Perry chipping in for Griff.
Travs 100% start to the season was brought to an end at the hands of Newdigate United. Sam Leary and Kai Smith scored the goals that secured a 2-0 win to take Newdigate to the top of MARK BLAIR FINANCE LEAGUE TWO..
White Horse Atherstone remain in 3rd place as 2 goals each for Kyle Crawford and Jordan Coles was enough to earn them a 4-2 win at Red Lion Barwell. Jack Chamberlain and Joe Randle scored the Red Lion goals.
Swan Dive picked up a 5-0 win over Ambleside Reserves thanks to 2 goals from Ashley Gilder and singles from Declan McAulay, Rhys Dainty and Jaiden Thompson.
Crows Nest Sports arrived at Grendon with only 8 men to select from. They put up a valiant effort but would eventually fall to a 9-1 defeat as substitute Dan Young hit a hat trick, Ion Popa 2 and goals from Kai Evans, Alan Carlberg, Dave Boal and Jack Barrett sent Grendon top of NUNEATON TROPHIES LEAGUE THREE. Steve Hall managed to pick up a consolation for a brave Crows Nest side.
Bedworth Bank picked up a 5-1 win over Horseshoes. Zak Bhara, Elliot Harris, Alleem Lloyd, Nathan Lindsay and Matty Atherton scored the Bank goals, the win sees them sat in 3rd place. Daniel Farmer was on target for Horseshoes.
Acorn climb to 5th place as a Josh Kelly brace and goals from Ben Thompson and Ryan White saw them edge out Hearty Goodfellow Reserves 4-3. Jack Torode hit 2 and Josh Wilks the other for Hearty.
Josh Smith was well amongst the goals as he scored a hat trick for the Wharf Inn as they beat Sunnyside Inn 6-1 to climb to 6th. Harry McDowell scored 2 and Dan Trizise the other for Wharf. Deane Cooke scored a consolation for Sunnyside.
Axel Edie, Sam Harris and Bradley Constable scored the goals to send Bedworth Eagles back to the top of RICHARD DUNN LEAGUE FOUR. They beat Griff and Coton Manor Reserves 3-1 with Daniel Parker on target for Griff.
Lamb and Flag climb to 2nd as they beat Attleborough Sports 3-0. Jack Starkey, Liam Genner and Jay Clark scored the Flag goals as they returned to winning ways after a setback last week.
Bedworth Liberal hit 9 as they eased aside Lord Nelson to win 9-1. Marcus Hill, Ryan Jones and Micheal Friel all scored braces that was backed up by singles from Callum Harrison, Jack Sidwell and Jacob Field. Kyle Taylor scored the Lord Nelson goal.
Ex-Servicemen Bedworth Reserves climbed off the foot of the table as they picked up a 6-0 win over Sunnyside United Reserves. Mitchell Harris scored 2 goals with the others coming from Matthew Harrison, Dave Baynham, Landon Fairbrother and Tommy Parsons.
It was County Cup weekend and plenty of NDSFL teams had made it to the 2nd Round.
Jay Macgill-Patel was on target for Drayton Reserves but they would go on to fall to a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Standard Bearer in the BIRMINGHAM SUNDAY VASE.
In the BIRMINGHAM SUNDAY AMATEUR CUP, Royal Oak Hartshill are through to the next round as goals from Brandon Walker, Liam Collins, Harry Bartram and Toby Bartram secured them a 4-0 win over Birmingham Bohemians.
In Leicestershire, Wykin Social got their defence of the LEICESTERSHIRE SUNDAY PREMIER CUP to a flying start as they beat CRG FC 9-0. Matt Burt scored a hat trick, a double for Will Groocock and singles for Jess Adcock, Liam Storer, Jake Brown and Archie Gallacher scoring the Wykin goals.
In the LEICESTERSHIRE SUNDAY INTERMEDIATE TROPHY, Ashby Road Sports drew 1-1 with Lutterworth FC. Stefan Green scored the goal for Ashby Road who went on to win 5-4 on penalties.
Another game to be decided by penalties was Athletico Duke vs Bagworth Athletic. Eddie Bown, Nathan Turner and George Hextall scored the goals for the Duke as the game finished 3-3. They would go on to lose the shootout 6-5.
Hinckley Wanderers would also have to face the dreaded penalties as their game with AC Urchins finished 4-4. The Hinckley goals coming from a Mitch Elson double, Jamie Roe and Kobi Jones. They went on to win the shootout 3-1
.
In the LEICESTERSHIRE SUNDAY TROPHY, FC Burbage went down 7-0 to AFC Shoemakers and SS Bulls Head would go through without kicking a ball as they won by walkover with Middleton United unable to field a team.
