Hasland opened up a five point gap at the top of the NAPIT LEAGUE after they saw off the challenge of Clowne Wanderers at Clune Street. Wanderers form has been impressive since they reached the top flight however, on the day, Hasland looked the better side and goals from Claridge, Clay, Beaton and Goodison secured them a 4-2 win. AFC Whitecotes are in second place after Jez Mitchell’s hat trick and a goal from Lytham saw them beat Hepthorne Lane 4-1. Two goals from Kirk and one from Savage were enough for Eckington Boys to overcome Bolsover Town SC whilst an eight goal thriller played out between Britannia and Renishaw MW ended with both sides taking a point from a 4-4 draw. On target for Britannia were Whitehead, who scored three and Degirolamo, Alberry, Grainger, Hatcroft and Senior replying for Renishaw. Rounding off one were Creswell, 2-1 winners over Brampton Rovers.

Adam Fordham hit a hat trick in a 6-3 win over Brampton Rovers JMA for Woodside who sit atop of NAPIT TWO. Danny Strong, Liam Stuart and substitute Nicky Ellis weighed in with a goal each to keep their side a point clear of Barrow Hill MC. For their part Barrow Hill who suffered a 7-5 reverse seven days earlier bounced back with a 4-0 win over Wingerworth Barley Mow, Scott Taylor netting twice, Mark Hadfield and Aidan Ordidge once each. In the division’s other game Silver Birches won 4-2 at Ashover Vale.
NAPIT THREE leaders Matlock Town Wanderers game fell victim to the weather and the three teams behind took full advantage of their inactivity by all winning their respective games. Dronfield Woodhouse easily beat Newton George and Dragon 6-0, Mottram scoring two, Crossland, Loftus, Sharpe and Scanlon once. AFC Bolsover visited Steelmelters Arms Killamarsh and beat them 4-1, James Taylor hitting all four goals and West Killamarsh beat Hopflower Athletic 4-0 at Spinkhill, Liam Edge scoring twice, Andy Jessop and Sam Woodhead once each. The headlines in THREE however were made by Beechers Brook who won for the first time this season at the seventh attempt. The win was an impressive one too, coming as it did against promotion chasing Red Lion Whitt Moor by a 6-1 margin. The three men on target in the win were, D Bingham, L Coates and P Longstaffe who each scored twice.

Former Bolsover Old Boys star Daley Furness is now a vital part of promotion chasing New Whitt B’s line up and he was on target twice as his side beat Newbold 6-3 in FOUR. Adding to his efforts were goals from Wood two, Wainwright and Locke one. At the other end some clinical finishing from Wayne Gerrity saw him score three. Despite the win it is Pilsley who maintain pole position after two goals from Shiels plus one each from Dillingham and Mildenhall earned them a 4-1 win over Spartans. Harleys Scarlets travelled to Dark Lane in search of their first win of the campaign and came close just losing by the odd goal in five to AFC North Wingfield, Woolvern, Harris and Goodwin’s goals beating them. Second from bottom Chesterfield Arms faired no better, slipping to a 3-1 defeat to Lowgates Sports Club for whom C White hit all three. Brimington Park Colts followed up their previous week’s victory with a 2-0 win at Dronfield Miners, J Reed-Aspley scoring both goals despite playing part of the game with ten men after Oldfield saw red.

NAPIT FIVE leaders Clowne Wanderers Reserves dropped points for the first time this season as they were held to a 3-3 draw by Holmehall 1ST. Holmehall had lost five of their previous seven games but goals from Bassett, West and Start cancelled out a Robson hat trick. Newbold Sports are second following their 3-0 win over Old Whittington MW, David Brent scoring twice to take his seasons tally to fifteen. Brimington Utd had not won prior to their game with Dunstan Rovers but four goals from Darren Parkinson help them storm to a 6-1 victory. Hasland Community took on Brampton Brewery and duly dispatched them 5-2, Neath scoring a couple of goals in the win, meanwhile it was honours even in the game between Gate Inn North Wingfield and Spital which finished 1-1.

Hady Villa and Crown Killamarsh are now nine and seven points respectively clear of third placed Furnace Hill Hurricanes in SIX. Leaders Villa made it eight wins from as many starts with a 5-0 success at Renishaw MW Reserves with Steve McMahon, Carl Twell, Craig Smedley, Wayne Coupe and Dave Twell on target. Crown outplayed Furnace Hill Hurricanes to beat them 7-0, Page hitting a hat trick in the victory, their seventh of the season. Barlow Kingston Rovers and Boythorpe both won 3-2, Rovers beating Bulls Head Old Whitt, Mann, Emberton and Biggin scoring, Boythorpe seeing off Fidlers Rest thanks to goals from Marchetta, Marshall and Goulding. Bite, Gregory, Robinson, Jones and Rawson all found the net in Hasland WMC’s 6-3 win over Markham Arms.

Duckmanton Community are top, Brampton Rovers Reserves second in NAPIT SEVEN. Duckmanton have been in fine form all season and on Sunday they were just too strong for opponents Clay Cross Miners and Diners, thumping them 7-2 with Gallagher and Hussey both scoring a brace in the win. Brampton Reserves were worked much harder by Grassmoor Sports Reserves but two Siddall goals edged it 2-1. Dronfield Town remain bottom following their 6-3 defeat to Spartans 2ND for whom Woolley scored twice, Miles, Ashall, Mansell and Longtone once. Paul Buxton scored twice as Brimington Club beat Squadron Medical 4-1 whilst Glapwell Gladiators and Britannia Tupton drew 2-2.
