Hasland are back on top of the NAPIT LEAGUE once again as they won a hard fought game at FC Britannia by three goals to two with talisman Lee Clay scoring twice and James Goodison once. In the other ONE game Greg Lowde, Hancock, Newbold and Rouse scored as Creswll stormed to a 4-0 win at AFC Whitecotes.

New Whit stay second in NAPIT a TWO as they were held to a 2-2 draw by second from bottom Silver Birches. This was a good result for Birches who's goals were scored by Wilkes and Brown, Hannaby and Morton scoring New Whitt's goals.

West Killamarsh beat local rivals Steelmelters Arms Killamarsh by four goals to nil to seal a win and take them to within a point of becoming NAPIT THREE champions for 2013/14. On target in this latest victory were Edge, Woodhead, Unwin and Rhodes in a season in which they have only lost twice. Meanwhile the race for runners up spot continues and Dronfield Woodhouse could have gone second had they won at Red Lion Whitt Moor, however they lost 2-1 to leave Red Lion in with a chance of finishing second themselves, Strong and Thompson the scorers.

Dronfield Miners moved to within a point of FOUR leaders AFC North Wingfield with a 3-1 victory over Chesterfield Arms thanks to goals from Bateman, Williams and Wood and they do have two games in hand, leaving them with a great chance to overhaul Wingfield to finish top. Woodthorpe Inn and Brimington Park Colts shared nine goals but not the points as Woodthorpe won by the odd goal, Sharman scoring twice, Whitford, Bower and White once.

In NAPIT FIVE Old Whittington Miners Welfare's penultimate league game ended in defeat as they were beaten 3-1 by Gate Inn North Wingfield who now have three games left themselves. Gate have enjoyed a solid season and goals from Barratt, Kirk and Wallace saw them move above Brampton Brewery into fourth spot. Brewery took on third from bottom Holmehall but they could only manage a draw as the game finished level at 1-1.

Despite slipping to a surprise defeat to Hasland WMC Hady Villa clinched the NAPIT SIX title, holding as they do a thirteen point advantage over second placed Crown Killamarsh. Hasland managed to do what no other SIX side has done all season as they won 2-1, Villa's only defeat of what has been a superb season.

Dronfield Wanderers withstood a second half battering as Crown Killamarsh tried in vain to find an equaliser which would have earned them one of the four points they need to claim runners up spot. They also created several good goalscoring opportunities in the first period but it was Wanderers who took the lead as Stevens powered a header into the top corner. Crown launched wave after wave of attacks but some wayward finishing and some superb Wanderers defending saw their efforts come to nothing.

Duckmanton Community have ruled the roost in SEVEN all season and they would have expected to claim another victory when they took on a Brampton Rovers Reserves but Brampton became only the second side to defeat Community as two Hadfield goals plus one each from Branson and Morris earned them a 4-3 victory and third place in the division.
