The first three NAPIT LEAGUE titles were decided over Easter as West Killamarsh became NAPIT THREE Champions, Clowne Wanderers Reserves were crowned Champions of FIVE and Hady Villa, Champions of SIX.

West Killamarsh claimed their title with a 4-0 Thursday night victory over Steelmelters Arms Killamarsh in a season in which they have led the division for most of the time. West's success is no small part due to the goalscoring prowess of Liam Edge who has so far scored thirty-one goals with Unwin chipping in with fifteen goals.

Clowne Wanderers Reserves could have been overtaken by Hasland Community but a 2-1 defeat on Sunday to Gate Inn North Wingfield for whom D Kirk and R Kirk scored means Wanderers win the title with four games left to play. M Robson and D Rodgers have hit forty- seven goals between them, the former thirty, the latter seventeen but their defensive record has been equally impressive with just eighteen goals conceded in sixteen starts.

Hady Villa under former Doe Lea Villa manager Pete Revill have dominated SIX all season long and have scored plenty of goals with Craig Smedley scoring nineteen and Wayne Coupe sixteen respectively, however their defence has proved to be very difficult to break down and has been breached on only ten occasions to date.

In NAPIT ONE defending champions Hasland beat Brampton Rovers 3-0 leaving them requiring three points from their remaining three games to retain the title. On target in the win over Rovers were Lee Clay, Pete Stubley and James Goodison. Should Hasland fail to get those three points Killamarsh Juniors Athletic could yet still best them and a 3-2 victory at AFC Whitecotes, Kamara, Parsons and Stanley the scorers, keeps their hopes alive.

The NAPIT THREE title may well have been decided but the race for the runners up spot is still very much on. At the moment Dronfield Woodhouse are leading the race and on Sunday they beat Creswell Black Diamond 3-2, Josh Sears scoring two, Liam Mottram, one. Hopflower took on Steelmelters Arms and in an incident packed game the sides scored four goals apiece and both had a player sent off.

In FOUR Chesterfield Arms remain in grave danger of being relegated but on a Sunday they put a large spanner in the works of Dronfield Miners hopes of winning the division by beating them 3-0. Miners would have gone top with a win but two goals from Mark Woods plus a third from Midgley left them in second place. Steelmelters Derbyshire Cup exploits have seen them playing catch up with most of the other teams but a sixth straight win, by five goals to three, which came against Newbold, leaves them just two points behind leaders AFC North Wingfield with five games left to play, Stephen Mansell smashing a hat trick. Woodthorpe Inn are another side with an outside chance of finishing on top and on Sunday they beat New Whitt B 3-1. Harley's Scarlets took on Spartans and in a nine goal thriller they won 5-4, Jimmy Brough scoring twice, Rich Hutchinson, Andy Lakin and Lee Wells once.

In FIVE Brimington Utd will finish second from bottom after they slipped to a 3-2 defeat to Holmehall the side immediately above them. They battled bravely but were finally undone by a spectacular long range effort from Holmehall's Bassett. Brampton Brewery were also winners, two Dan Nowak goals enough to beat Palterton Sporting Club 2-1.

Crown Killamarsh continue to stumble towards finishing as runners up in SIX. After losing at Dronfield Wanderers in mid-week they were held to a 1-1 draw by the side immediately below Barlow Kingston Rovers who could still finish second themselves if Crown implode completely and don't gain any more points from their last three games. Wanderers didn't fare quite so well on Sunday as goals from Fidlers Rest's Stokes and Webley beat them 2-1.

Oxcroft Utd won 3-0 at Spartans 2ND in SEVEN to move three points behind leaders Duckmanton Community with four games to play as opposed to Community's three. Utd were rarely troubled as Grayson scored twice, Kimberley once. Intriguingly the sides meet on Sunday the 27th in what should be a cracker. Elsewhere in SEVEN Boot and Shoe beat Brimington Club 5-2, Clay Cross Miners and Diners beat Squadron Medical 5-1, Dronfield Town lost 2-1 to Britannia Tupton and Glapwell Gladiators beat Grassmoor Sports Reserves 2-1.
