The wet weather continued to disrupt the League’s fixtures on Sunday with fourteen of the scheduled games being postponed. This meant just one game went ahead in NAPIT ONE which was contested by Tibshelf Town and Clowne Wanderers. There was little to choose between the sides but Anthony Rowley put Wanderers ahead and Andrew Heath added a second to secure the win for Wanderers who are now two points behind Town in the division.

TWO faired no better with just one game going ahead, however in this one between, Creswell Black Diamond Reserves and Westend Killamarsh, the goals flew in regularly as the sides hit ten goals between them, six being scored by Black Diamond. Sean Marsden scored two for Black Diamond to take his tally for the season to twelve, Ashley Rouse also scoring along with Josh Greaveson, new signing Corey Luck and Stacey Malarek.

In THREE leaders Renishaw MW’s tremendous season continued with a high scoring 7-4 victory over AFC North Wingfield that moved them thirteen points clear of second placed Newbold who do have games in hand. Danny Talbot led the way for Renishaw with a well taken hat trick whilst Chris Clayton, Gavin Poulton, Ryan Spinks and Jamie Plaweki all scored once. Hady Villa visited the division’s bottom side Ark Tavern and proved to be much too strong for them, winning the game by six goals to one, Dave Inns scoring two of the six, Dale Crowder, Bob Hayes, Dave Twell and Steve McMahon the rest.

Brampton Rovers went three points clear at the top of FOUR after thrashing Duckmanton Community by nine goals to one, three of nine goals being scored by Roberto Marchetta. Charlie Scattergood and George Ward both scored twice Elliott Crowder and Stephen Siddall once. AFC Castle quickly went three up against Brimington Utd Shoes through Gary Webley, Lloyd Amissah and Luke Carline, Joe Timmins adding a fourth before Andrew Moseley reduced Castle's advantage before the break. Shoes turned the game on its head in the second period as with a strong wind behind their backs Jordan Renshaw made it 4-2 before two Craig Buchanan goals drew them level. Then came a moment of brilliance from captain Mark Mowbray. The ball fell to him just inside Castle’s half, he controlled the ball and with the keeper off his line, he hit the ball and it sailed into the top corner. Newell then finished the game off with a well taken goal. Final score 6-4 to the Shoes.High scoring was also the order of the day at Old Whittington MW where opponents Spartans won a thrilling encounter 5-4. Craig Troman’s goal scoring prowess has proved to be invaluable for Spartans and he was on target twice in this victory along with Miles, Ashford and Ross.

Ryan Capuano and Liam Richardson proved to be the main thorns in the side of Barlow Kingston Rovers as they scored thee and two goals respectively in an 8-3 win for Bolsover Town in FIVE. Ashley Scattergood , Adrian Dykes and Jamie Madin were also on target in a game which saw two Rovers players red carded. Glapwell Gladiators recent winning run came to an abrupt halt at Coal Aston as they were beaten 5-2 by Dronfield Wanderers.

Second placed Evolution took on SIX leaders Whitecotes Wanderers and beat them by three goals to one to replace them at the top. This season has seen a complete turnaround of fortunes for Evolution who struggled badly last season and goals from Daniel Cliffe, Ian Hill and Jack Warwick saw them win this vital game. In stark contrast Lockoford Inn can't buy a victory and slumped to another heavy defeat this time at the hands of Hasland WMC who put eleven goals past them without reply. Matt Bower top scored for Hasland with a treble, Karl Dolling and Andy Laming scoring twice, Joe and Mark Rawson along with Kieran Lloyd once apiece. A much closer game between Furnace Hill Hurricanes and Palterton Sporting Club was decided by two Neil Hollingworth goals for Furnace Hill who won by the odd goal in three. The Castle Arms game against AFC Steelmelters was also decided by the odd goal, 5-4 in Castle Arms favor. It was nip and tuck for most of the game but two Steve Roberts goals proved to be decisive in Castle’s win.


In the only game in SEVEN Newbold Community Football Training recorded an impressive victory over in form Anchor Clowne by three goals to one, man of the match Andrew Brown scoring all three winning goals.
In the CHATSWORTH Cup Butchers Arms beat Brampton Oak Sports 4-2 on penalties after the game was tied at 4-4 after extra time.
