SIX side Furnace Hill Hurricanes and in particular Pete Stubley caused a sensation on Sunday when they beat AFC Steelmelters by twenty(20) goals to one with Stubley scoring an amazing eleven taking his tally to an even more amazing twenty-five goals in ten starts. Stubley has previously played in the leagues top division and won a Derbyshire Senior Cup Winners medal as well and defenses in SIX are finding him unstoppable in the form he's in. Steelmelters didn't fair to much better with Neil Hollingworth and Adam Fareham either to be fair as they both scored hat tricks in the win with Dave O’Hare adding two to the total, Keith Parkes one. The victory moved Furnace Hill up to second place, four points behind leaders Evolution with two games in hand. For their part Evolution brushed aside the challenge of Hasland Community Eagles, beating them comfortably 6-2, Jack Warwick hitting a fine treble, Josh Cartledge, Alex Fleming and Ian Hill one each. Palterton Sporting Club beat Woodthorpe Wanderers by the same score with with Will Holmes adding yet another hat trick to his CV, Matt Hayes scoring twice, Alex Sanderson once.


Hepthorne Lane are the new leaders of the NAPIT league following their 8-0 demolition of Wingerworth BMB at Deer Park. Josh Burrow led the charge by scoring three times, Carl Lytham added two, Carl Mawby, Joel Holland and Lewis Thurnam one. Tibshelf Town’s win at Doe Lea was by a much narrower margin, Paul Holmes scoring the only goal of the game, Town remaining in third place following the win.

Josh Scully scored twice as TWO leaders FC Utd Bolsover beat second placed New Whitt in a top of the table clash which saw Utd move nine points clear at the top. At the other end of the table their was cause for celebration in Ashover as local side Crispin Casuals finally won their first game of the season, beating Creswell Black Diamond Reserves 2-1, Ben Marsh and Brad Clarke with the winning goals. An extraordinary encounter between Westend Killamarsh and Dronfield Victoria saw ten goals scored, five by each side. Matt Adams scored twice for Westend Ash Unwin, Ash McCall, Nick Hanwell once whilst Vic's goals came from Ollie Wood two, Josh Adams, Dan Hamilton and Ross Bateman.


In THREE top met bottom as Renishaw MW took on Ark Tavern and the game went to form as leaders Renishaw won by five goals to nil, Danny Talbot scoring twice, Rio Alberry, Ryan Spinks and Jamie Plaweki once. Two Scott Taylor goals earned second placed Red Lion Whitt Moor a 2-0 victory over Oaks FC. Brimington Utd’s relegation fears intensified as they were beaten 4-0 by lowly New Inn Tupton whilst Pilsley Community and Hollingwood Athletic shared the points as their clash ended level at 1-1.

In NAPIT FOUR the top four sides all won with leaders Brampton Rovers beating Old Whittington MW 3-1, Elliott Crowder, Conner Martin and Carlo Marchetta on target in their club’s tenth win of the campaign. Second placed Crown Killamarsh took on Spartans and beat them 4-0, with Holmes scoring twice, Whitehouse and Majchrzak once. Third placed Butchers Arms just edged out New All Inn 2-1 with Callum Vagillio and Mark Woods scoring the winning goals. Fourth placed Brampton Oak Sports were big winners, beating Duckmanton Community 9-2, Dan Chapman hitting a hat trick in the win, Paul Roe, Ryan Cancellara, Kirk Smith and Jamie Jenkinson, Aquilino De Giralomo one. Finally in FOUR a goal each from Danny Stokes and Gary Webley earned AFC Castle a 2-1 win at Brimington Utd Shoes.

Renishaw Rangers seemingly unstoppable March to the NAPIT FIVE title continued with a hard fought 2-1 success at the expense of Harleys Scarlets, Rangers lead the division by eleven points following the win. Bolsover Town could have gone second had they not drawn at Glapwell Gladiators, having said that they did trail 3-0 early in the game. Dave Canning is also one of the leagues top goal getters and he scored three more in this game for the Gladiators. Ben Rainsford-Lowe scoring number four. On target for Town were, Josh Nicholls, who scored twice Liam Richardson, and Ryan Capuano.

In SEVEN Darley Dale Red Star missed the opportunity to close the gap on leaders Brimington Club when they were beaten 2-1 by Ye Olde Nags Head for whom Jordan Sambrook scored twice. Newbold Football Community Training extended their un-beaten run to four with a good 7-0 win over Markham Arms, Daniel Hodson and Luke Wadsworth-Thurnham both scoring a couple in the victory.

One game in the CHATSWORTH CUP and it saw Britannia Rose and Club FC contest a place in the next round with the former prevailing 3-0, Declan Jenkins, Harry Rickles and Aiden Ordidge scoring the winning goals.
