Defending NAPIT Leauge champions Hasland Devonshire made they perfect start to the 2014/15 season with a 6-2 win over newly promoted Tibshelf Town . Claridge and Stubley scored twice and the victory was completed with goals from Clay and Mason. A much closer game between potential title challengers Britannia and last seasons runners up Killamarsh Juniors Athletic was decide in favour of the former by a solitary Dean Ledger goal. Hopflower and Cresswell Black Diamond were also winners against Hepthorne Lane and Eckington Boys respectively.

NAPIT TWO saw some high scoring games with nine coming in the match up between Red Lion Whitt Moor and Dronfield Woodhouse, the latter shading it by five goals to four, the five coming from Simpson, Loftus, Morton Hobson and an own goal. Brampton Rovers JMA also scored five to beat Matlock Wanderers by three, J Reid-Aspley hitting a hat trick for JMA. A seven goal thriller at Wingerworth BMB went the way of the home side who beat visitors Grassmoor Sports by the odd goal. Shaw and Kirk were on target for promoted West End Killamarsh in their 2-1 win at Black Swan whilst AFC Bolsover got off to a flyer two Daley Furness goals one from Oliver Henry and one from a Joe Seredynski earning them 4-2 win at Dronfield Victoria.

New club Spital started life in THREE with an excellent 4-0 win at Brampton Oak Sports, Mitchell scoring twice,Edwards and Smith once. Likewise Clowne Wanderers Reserves hit the ground running putting six past AFC Wingfield Cooper scoring twice, Bannister, Leadbeater, Summers and Straw once apiece. Creswell Black Diamond Reserves entertained Hollingwood Athletic and were winners too. Promoted Hady Villa slipped to a 3-0 opening day defeat at the hands of Ark Tavern, Paul Grant twice Carl White the match winners.finally New Whitt's Yeomans, twice Lock and Scott in a 4-1 win at Pilsley.

Oxcroft Utd v New Inn Tupton turned out to be a fascinating encounter in FOUR as the sides shared six goals and the points. On target for Oxcroft were Nick Grayson twice and Andy Grayson, Brock Hart and Hewitt scored for New Inn. Two other sides to draw on the opening day were Duckmanton Community and Club FC, Johnson and Bailey scoring for Duckmanton, Dale Heggarty and Kyle Green for Club. Crown Killamarsh and Harley's game was also closely contested with the former thanks to a brace from Page and a third from Holmes shading the game 3-2. Newbold and Oakes FC both began with victories, Newbold beating Chesterfield Arms 2-0, Hill and Keenan, Oaks FC's win came at the expense of Gate In Wingfield by a five goal margin, Josh Thomas hitting a treble.

In NAPIT FIVE Holme a Hall Ist made a tremendous start as they crushed Royal Oak putting eight chances away whilst keeping a clean sheet. Leading the charge were Bingham and Wildman who both scored twice. The Brimington derby between Brimington Utd and Brimwood Utd was won 3-1 by the latter, Ashley Scattergood, Steve Yates and Aaron Black with the winning goals. A hat trick from Rigby and a couple from Galloway saw Old Whittington MW ease past B.K.R. 5-2, a edge, Blakemore and Dean scored as new club Renishaw Rangers beat New All Inn. A Will Holmes brace and a third from Alan Eggleston guided Palterton to a 3-0 win at Spartans.

In SIX new club Evolution need to do do a tad more evolving as the reality of a Sunday League football hit them big style as they were hammered 11-0, Scott Morton blasted four and Chris Scattergood three in the win. Gardners Clay Cross beat Furnace Hill Hurricanes 2-1, whilst Dronfield Wanderers won 4-2 at Hasland Wanderers and a Gavin Poulton goal saw Renishaw Reserves beat Holme Hall.

The cricket season may well be drawing to a close but in SEVEN two sides goal for column resembled a cricket score card as both Newbold Comunity Football Training and Renishaw Ranger TFC shipped fourteen goals each. Newbolds humbling came at the hands of Squadron Medical, A Kelly and Glover leading the March scoring five goals each. Grassmoor Sports Reserves beat Spartans 2nds 4-1, Dronfield Town beat Ye Old Nags Head 5-1 whilst Charlie's Clay Cross a Athletic beat Darley Dale Red Star by the same score line.
