The second week of March saw NAPIT ONE leaders Killamarsh Juniors Athletic in action against bottom club Brampton Rovers, Rovers surprisingly held them to a 3-3 draw which allowed Renishaw MW to replace them at the top after they recorded an excellent 2-0 victory over Hasland thanks to goals from Grainger and Furness. Juniors have enjoyed an excellent campaign after winning NAPIT TWO last time around and the two points dropped dented their title aspirations.

in NAPIT TWO second placed Tibshelf Town beat New Whitt 3-2 and leapfrogged them into pole position in the process as both teams look towards a return to the top-flight. On target for Town were Garrard and Armstrong, Furness and Morton replying for New Whitt but crucially Town's third and winning goal was an OG. Grassmoor Sports could have also moved above New Whitt had they Beaten Brimington FC, however the points went to the latter as goals from Josh Thomas, Jordan Catnott Hall and Danny Rigby earned them a 3-1 victory. Barrow Hill MC entertained Ashover Vale and beat them 4-0, Aiden Ordidge hitting a hat trick, Mark Hadfield adding goal number four.

Runaway THREE leaders West Killamarsh were looking to extend their advantage at the top when they took on Hollingwood Athletic, but it was in fact cut by two points as Athletic held them to a 1-1 draw, Jessop scoring for West's, Poole for Athletic, whilst second placed Dronfield Woodhouse beat Matlock a Town Wanderers 5-1 with Austin scoring twice, Loftus, Lee and Fordham once each. Josh Parfitt hit a treble for third placed AFC Bolsover as they beat Newton George and Dragon 5-3 in a high scoring game.

NAPIT FOUR leaders AFC North Wingfield suffered a rare set back, slipping to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Steelmelters, goals from Jack Yeomans and Dave Kelly sealing their fate. They do still top the division but the team to watch are Woodthorpe Inn who won 4-1 at Brimington Park Colts, Lynam, Hanshaw, Walsh and Whitford the scorers. True, they are nine points behind the leaders but amazingly they have played eight games less. Pilsley, who beat Newbold are third and at the other end of the table second bottom Chesterfield Arms picked up a valuable point in a 2-2 draw with Lowgates Sports, White and Slater netting for Sports, Hardy and Booth for the Arms. Not such good news for bottom side Spartans as they slumped to a 5-1 defeat at the hands of New Whitt B, Whitt winning 5-1 with Dan Lock scoring three times, Mathew Wood and Will Mott once.

The relegation Battle in FIVE remains tense as bottom side Brimington Utd beat Newbold Sports 4-2. Sports took the lead in the first half through Dave Brent but Utd fought back to lead 2-1 through goals from Nathan Cope and Darren Parkinson by half time, Sports also had a first half penalty saved by Utd keeper Darren Byrne. In the second half Sports levelled through Chapman before Parkinson converted a Utd penalty and completed his second hat trick in 3 games to make it 4-2. The win could have have moved Utd off the bottom but Old Whittington MW also won. Their win came against Palterton Sporting with Clarke, Eyre and Churchill on target. At the other end of the division leaders Clowne Wanderers Reserves recorded their twelfth win of the season to maintain their title challenge. Their latest success came at Gate Inn North Wingfield, Rodgers twice, Peake and Robson scoring in their 4-1 win. North Wingfield MW were also winners, a hat trick from Large plus a fourth from Walters enough to beat Brampton Brewery 4-2.

In SIX leaders Hady Villa drew a blank at lowly a Dronfield Wanderers who couldn't score either. The game between Renishaw MW and Hasland WMC was also drawn 1-1 whilst Barlow Kingston Rovers did manage a win, Pete Stevenson and Nigel Emberton's goals cancelling out Furnace Hill a Hurricanes' Steve Jones goal.

The top two in SEVEN recorded excellent victories, leaders Duckmanton Community beating Dronfield Town 5-1, second placed Oxcroft Utd putting six past Brampton Rovers Reserves. On target for Duckmanton were Weaver, twice, Dove Gallagher and Travis and Oxcroft's hit men were Cann and Kidger with two each, Roe and Jones. Finally Clay Cross Miners And Diners beat Britannia Tupton 3-1 thanks to goals from Rodgers, Palfreyman and Saville.
