NAPIT ONE leaders Hasland Devonshire visited Clune Street to take on Clowne Wanderers on Sunday and came away with a point that now separates them from second placed Renishaw MW. Wanderers have not enjoyed the best of seasons so far but are always a tough proposition on their home turf and Devonshire were made to work hard for their point, Lee Clay and Tom Poole scoring Devonshire's goals whilst Regan Edridge hit both Wanderer's goals. Nathan Whitehead was in fine form for Britannia in their encounter with Hopflower Utd, hitting a treble in his side's 4-0 victory, Will Harcourt adding goal number four.

The bottom two in TWO met with bottom club Red Lion Whitt Moor taking on second from bottom Brampton Rovers JMA. Prior to the game JMA had won only once this season whilst Red Lion were looking to record their first victory, which was achieved as they won the game by four goals to two. Dronfield Victoria entertained Black Swan and managed to win a hard fought game 3-2. There was, as the score line suggests, little to choose between the two sides but in the end Victoria just came out on top.

New Whitt B have bossed NAPIT THREE all season, winning every one of their opening seven fixtures. Sunday's opponents Creswell Black Diamond Reserves have also had an excellent campaign which got a whole lot better as they became the first side to beat the division's leaders. They did it the hard way as well, playing part of the game short handed as captain Sam Gray saw red after receiving two cautions with Lance Jones joining him for an early bath after receiving a straight red. The main men however were goal scorers, David Hall who scored two and Sean Marsden who scored once in the 3-1 win. Hady Villa came back from two down to win a thrilling local derby with AFC Spital by the odd goal in nine, Steve McMahon scoring twice, Wayne Coupe, Craig Smedley and Andy Laming once. Pilsley also came out on top in a close encounter with AFC North Wingfield, winning 3-2.

In FOUR Chesterfield Arms took over the leadership despite being held to a 1-1 draw by strugglers Gate Inn North Wingfield who have yet to win. Dean Simmons scored the Arms goal, Gary Gilthorpe Gates. New Inn Tupton moved up to third after they beat Crown Killamarsh 4-2, Allen Hurt 2 Josh Hamson and Jake Brock the scorers. Hasland Community were hammered 10-1 in their previous game before taking on Duckmanton Community and they didn't fare much better as they were beaten 8-2. Gareth Bally and Graham Travis and Martin Newman all scored twice with Craig Marples and Lee Jackson weighing in with a goal apiece. In the division's other game Club FC beat Oaks FC by three goals to nil.

Brimington Utd went top of NAPIT FIVE. Utd were away at Holmehall 1st who were three points behind them at the start of play. It was a fairly tense start and Holmehall could have taken the lead early on when they were awarded a penalty but stand in keeper Jordan Renshaw made a fine save to keep the game goal-less. The miss was to prove costly as Utd then scored twice in quick succession, one a header from Aiden Chambers, his first for the club and another header from Chris Marshall converting an excellent cross from Carl Newell. The second half was also a tense affair as Utd looked to add a crucial third goal which they did as Alex McIntyre hit an unstoppable shot from distance which gave the keeper no chance. Holmehall did pull a goal back in the seventieth minute but Gino Defazio added a fourth as Utd secured the win. Brimwood Utd began the day in first place but they were beaten 5-3 by Royal Oak Rangers. Kyle Perrins did score a treble for Brimwood but poor defending cost them as Nathan Melbourne twice, Alex Offless, Ian Whitehead and Josh Marshall scored for Rangers. Barlow Kingston Rovers took on bottom club Travellers Clowne and won comfortably 5-1, Ryan Stevenson scoring twice, Pete Stevenson, Ed Biggin and Niko Shorniko once. Mick Nash scored twice as New All Inn beat Renishaw Rangers 4-2 and old Whittington MW drew 2-2 with Palterton Sporting.

Brampton Rovers Reserves stay top of SIX despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Hasland Wanderers. Rovers took the lead through Stephen Siddall but we're heading for defeat after goals from Grant and Letel turned the game on its head. However eight minutes from time Siddall added his and Rovers second to tie the game. Fidlers Rest stay second after two Danny Stokes goals plus efforts from Carl Germany, Joe Palmer and Craig Wildman were enough to lead their side to a 5-1 win over Holmehall 2nd. Bottom club Evolution's woes continue following a 5-3 reverse at Gardeners Clay Cross, with Mick Saville scoring twice for the winners. Renishaw MW Reserves entertained Furnace Hill Hurricanes and a goal-fest ensued as nine were scored in total, four by Renishaw and five by the Hurricanes, for whom Jamie Richie and Adam Seward scored twice, Neil Hollingworth once. Hasland WMC took on Dronfield Wanderers in the division's other game and beat them 3-1.

Into SEVEN and runaway leaders Brimington Utd Shoes extended their lead to eight points with a 7-0 win over Renishaw Rangers TFC. In a very one sided affair Steve Brown was on target three times for Shoes, Jay Morris-Docker twice, Andrew Roberts and Ben Moseley once each. Brimington Club also recorded a 7-0 victory this time over Newbold Community Football Training. Charlies Clay Cross Athletic's promotion hopes stay on course following a 4-2 win at Dronfield Town whilst Spartans 2nds beat Squadron Medical 3-1.
