Check your SMS numbers for each team and missing teams

CHECKING SMS NUMBERS
One of the attractions of Full-Time is that it is integrated with Full-Time. This means that when we set up our divisions, teams, and now players, in WGS, this information is ported directly into Full-Time and so we don’t need to duplicate any data entry.

As part of the first-time integration, we have linked teams in this current season with last season’s teams. So, for example, there is a Reigate Priory U10 Eagles team this year, and we have linked it to last year’s Reigate Priory U9 Eagles team. This mean that the contact information has been brought over from last season, so that there is no need for us to enter new a Team Administrator, or SMS number, if that person is the same person as carried out the role last season.

Obviously, where team names are unchanged, except for being one year older, as in the example above, it was fairly easy to select which of last year’s teams to link to. However, it is not always quite as straightforward, and in many cases, especially at the younger age groups, the team simply didn't exist last season. It is also obviously possible for the Team Administrator, and/or their mobile number, to have changed since last season.

Therefore, if you have teams at U7-U11, please sign into Full-Time and review the Team Administrator and the SMS contact number for each of your teams. The SMS number is particularly key as results in Full-Time are submitted by text. Once you are logged in, from the main menu, select “SMS” then “Teams” and then check the number for each of your teams in turn. If it is not correct, you can just click on the person concerned and then update the number.

If one of your teams does not have an SMS number against it, click on “Add New”. Select the appropriate Team Administrator from the drop-down list, and add the SMS number you wish to use to send results in for this team. Please note that the name of the individual Team Administrator is not really important (it could typically be the Club Secretary for all of your teams) – it is the SMS number which is the key thing, and that would typically be the team manager’s number.
