The league representative side played the Amateur Football Combination on 30th Sep, at FDC.

Unfortunately this years campaign began and ended in the first round as the Amateur Combination ran out 5-0 winners. Two goals from Craig Jones as well as strikes from Emanuel Shoderu, Stuart Holt and an own goal saw the visitors lead 5-0 at half time. The scoreline can be considered quite misleading as the Anglian Combination had plenty of chances over the 90 minutes but wasted chances and an inspired visiting goalkeeper kept their clean sheet intact.
