Linthwaite Athletic stay three points clear at top of the Premier Division following their 5-5 draw with second placed Berry Brow.

George Greatbatch (two), Ryan Wadsworth (two) and Bryn Jenkins scored for Linfit and Elliott Frodsham, Jordan Elvidge (two), Daniel Facey and Kyle Walton scored for the Brow. Dwayne Chappell scored for third placed Netherton in their 1-1 draw at home to Holmbridge with Jordan Saville scoring for the Bridge. Ben Boulton hit a hattrick as Slaithwaite United beat Britannia Sports 5-1 with James Edwards and Tom Dyson completing the scoring.

Huddersfield Laund Hill stay in second place in Division 1 with a hard fought 2-1 win over at Diggle with Jordan Jaber and Daniel Lorryman scoring. Callum Holmes scored for Diggle. Saddleworth United kept the top spot after their opponents Fothergill & Whittles failed to raise a team. The destination of the title looks likely to be decided in the next couple of weeks as Saddleworth play Laund Hill at home on Saturday and away the Saturday after. Moorside stay in third place and Honley move up to fourth place with wins against Almondbury Woolpack 7-0, Ben Lindley scoring four and Skelmanthorpe 4-3 with Ben Lindley scoring three. Holme Valley Academicals completed their fixtures with a 7-1 defeat against Scissett and a 2-2 draw with Lepton Highlanders.

In Division 2 Grange Moor Saints picked up 3 points with goals from Cameron Wilkey and Stephen Chandler in a 2-1 win over Newsome Reserves. Devonte Gayle scoring for Newsome. In the same week, the Saints travelled to Brighouse Athletic and returned empty handed losing 1-0. Dareece Siddique (three) and Ashley Haigh (two) scored for Deighton Reserves in their 5-1 win over bottom club Netherton Reserves. Cumberworth moved out of the relegation zone with a shock 4-1 win over second placed Berry Brow Reserves.

Berry Brow A won the Division 3 title with a 4-1 win at Holmfirth Town. Heywood Irish Centre are up to second place easily beating Holmbridge Reserves 7-0. Hade Edge entertained bottom club Mount and in a high scoring game won 7-3. Skelmanthorpe Reserves stay in third place on goal difference, following their 3-1 win over Britannia Sports Reserves. AFC Lindley Reserves had a mixed bag this week with a 3-2 loss at Holmbridge Reserves and a 1-1 draw with champions Berry Brow A.

Kirkheaton Rovers are closing in on the Division 4 title following their 9-1 demolition of Grange Moor Saints Reserves. Wooldale Wanderers Reserves who are third, are the only club who can catch them. Kirkheaton play Wooldale on Saturday at Bankfield Rec in what should be an entertaining game. Diggle Reserves completed their fixtures with a brace from Bradley Ward in their 2-0 win over Scissett Reserves.

Emick Katika hit four as Deighton A moved in on the Division 5 title in their 9-1 win over Skelmanthorpe A. Honley Reserves are second following their 5-3 win over Almondbury Woolpack Reserves. Brook Motors are fourth after their 4-3 win at Hade Edge Development.

In the Huddersfield FA Trophy semi finals substitute Danny Murray scored three as Linthwaite Athletic Reserves overwhelmed Netherton Reserves 10-1. Berry Brow Reserves also progressed beating Fothergill and Whittles Reserves 3-0 with goals from Lee Wharam, Dean Siddiq and Luke McLoughlin. The Trophy Final will be played at the home of Golcar United on April 25th, kick off 7pm.

Berry Brow are through to the Barlow Cup Final beating Holmbridge 2-1 with goals from Liam Dobson and Daniel Facey. Jordan Saville scoring for the Bridge. Linthwaite Athletic will join them following their 4-1 win over Newsome.

Mount Reserves are through to the semi finals of the Richardson Cup with goals from Baron Samuda, Michael Firth and Joe Gomez in their 3-0 win over Fenton United. In the semi final they will be at home to Honley Reserves. Allerton hosted Brook Motors in the other Richardson Cup semi final and after a thrilling opening 15 minutes the score was 2-2. Allerton led 5-2 at the break with a hattrick from Mustafa Zeb and goals from Umais Khan and Mohammed Ibrahim. John Lodge scoring both for the Motors. In the second half Lodge completed his hattrick, Richard Botchway hit two and Max Pedley made it 6-5 with injury time remaining. In the 93rd minute Zeb scored his fourth to equalise and send the tie to penalties. Brook Motors won 4-2 to book their place in the final.

In the Groom Cup semi finals Berry Brow A played AFC Volunteers and a Ryan Matthews goal sent the Vols through to the final winning 1-0. Linthwaite Athletic Reserves beat Grange Moor Saints 2-1 to also go through to the final.
