Premier Division
Kings United vs Frames United – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
It’s top against bottom in this Premier Division clash, Kings having won all their three matches so far this season scoring ten goals, Lee Palmer and Zack Thomas both with three goals each. Frames had last weekend off and will hope to get their first points of the season this Sunday.
19th Hole vs Counting House – Viking Field 10.30am
Counting House can end the day top of the division should Kings slip up but have a tough task against a 19th Hole side that come into this week off the back of a good result last weekend, Jack Brown scoring a hat trick. Counting House have the best defensive record in the whole league have let in just a solitary goal to date.
TWS Cramptons vs Lanthorne – The Marlowe Academy 10.30am
Both sides come into this match having suffered a defeat last weekend. TWS Cramptons have won two and lost two of their four matches to sit on six points, Lanthorne have picked up three points from their three matches.
First Division
Westwood vs Lesters Athletic – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
With Hussar not in action this weekend, Lesters Athletic will end the weekend top of the table if they avoid defeat against bottom side Westwood. A 100% record so far for the promoted side who have Thomas Darrington sitting as top scorer with five goals from five matches. Westwood will want to find their shooting boots having only scored twice in their four league outings.
Red Arrows vs Easy Scaff - Sandwich Technology School 10.30am
Red Arrows can also leapfrog the inactive Hussar side if they defeat Easy Scaff at Sandwich Tech. They continue to share the goals around with ten players having netted so far this season. Easy Scaff’s matches so far have provided goals with thirty coming from their four matches, Camron Haswell is now the top scorer in the entire league with eight goals.
Macies vs Monkton – Monkton Recreation Ground 10.30am
Monkton got their first win of the season in style with a thumping 8-1 win over Westwood last Sunday with Matt Hardy back amongst the goals, but they come up against Macies who themselves have enjoyed scoring this season and have racked up ten goals from their four matches.
Northwood vs FC Inter Westgate – Baypoint Sports Club 10.30am
Northwood are still searching for their first points of the season after a narrow 3-2 defeat last weekend. FC Inter Westgate have two wins so far but suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat last week. Daniel Harris leads the scoring charts for Inter Westgate whilst Harry Paxman has hit five for Northwood.
Second Division
Shrimpos vs Franklins – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
The leaders take their 100% to Jacky Bakers where they host Franklins, they also boast the best defence in the division and will look to Gareth Rushton to continue his fine goal scoring start to the season. Franklins sit 3rd in the table with five points from their four matches, Frantisek Balog and Steven Gunner both have two goals each.
Aussie Arms vs Sandwich Town – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Sandwich Town remain unbeaten this season and sit fourth in the table with five points from three matches, having drawn their last two matches they’ll want to get back to winning ways. Aussie currently sit bottom but must be encouraged by a decent performance last weekend, Ricardo Poole leads the way for them in the scoring charts.
Garden Bar vs Thanet Athletic – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Garden Bar slipped to second in the table despite their win last weekend as Shrimpos overtook them on goal difference. Nine points from their first four matches represents a fantastic start to the season and in Will Billings and Freddie Saunders they’ve got two strikers on form. Thanet Athletic recorded their first win of the season last weekend and will hope they can take that momentum into this weekend, Cameron Escudier has four goals this campaign.
The Vale vs Prince Albert – Jacky Bakers 10.00am
The Vale dropped into the bottom two last weekend as results went against them whilst they had the week off, they have the chance to climb out this Sunday but face a Prince Albert side who’ve got eyes on moving into the promotion places. The Vale will be looking for David Crane to continue his superb goal scoring form but will be without Dan Davies who serves a one match ban. Prince Albert lost out to Shrimpos last Sunday but a win this weekend could move them third but have lost top scorer Lewis Higgins who has transferred to Franklins this week.
