WARNING TO TEAMS OVER LATE MATCH POSTPONEMENTS

Teams are postponing matches late on, sometimes on Friday and Saturday evenings. This is not acceptable as it means that there is a loss of fixture for their opponents and referees and also in majority of cases there is an unused pitch which in most instances have been booked and will need to be paid for. Teams are advised that if they fail to comply with League Rules in terms of match postponements then they will be liable to incur a fine for postponement, be charged for the cost of any pitches which cannot be cancelled or reallocated to another match and also referees match fees. There are no excuses for teams failing to follow League Rules which were voted on and accepted at the League's 2016 AGM.
