NORTHERN DIVISION

Desford made a stunning debut in the League by defeating last seasons’ Champions, Gresley, 6-3. Maddison Murrell (2), Kyran Wilcox, Liam Bloxham, Louis Rood and Ellis Weston for Desford with Jordan Lees, Owen Judd and Harry Lansdowne replying for Gresley.
Mansfield Town hit 10 without reply against Ashby Ivanhoe with Ethan Wiesztort bagging himself 4 with braces for Thomas Gledhill, Callum McGarry and Karl Bullock.
After several seasons’ away, Loughborough Dynamo made a winning start on their return to the League by defeating Coalville Town 4-0 with Dan Axten (2), Dan Tuck and Kieran Riddell finding the back of the net.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

Leicester Nirvana defeated new boys Oadby Owls 2-0 with Rahul Parmar bagging both goals. Lutterworth Athletic Academys’ return to the League ended in a 4-1 defeat at the hands of sister side Lutterworth Athletic. Paul Chisholm (2), Aston King and Ben Barrett for the Athos’ with Josh Marshall replying for the Academy. Another debut side, Allexton & New Parks Eagles had a 5-2 victory over Aylestone Park. Mason Yates (2), Connor Lucas, Mohammed Al Jaf and Rheiss McLean for the Eagles with Corey Holdem bagging himself a brace for Aylestone.
