ITFC Community Project announce sponsorship of the ISFL Senior Cup Competition, now to be known as the ITFC Community Cup.
The Ipswich Town Football Club Community project, under the directorship of David Brooks, has agreed to sponsor the ISFL Senior Knock Out Cup Competition. The cup will now be known as the ITFC Community Cup, and should this prove successful, agreement has been reached to extend the sponsorship to the Junior and Reserve Cup competitions.
The staging of the League Cup competions is a major outlay each year and this new deal will help the League to budget effectively for the coming seasons.
Speaking about the new partnership with the Flare Recruitment Ipswich Sunday Football League, Trust Community Sports Director David Brooks commented, "This sponsorship is an exciting partnership for the Trust and really allows us to work within the community as a whole. We look forward to the relationship developing and strengthening in the future."
The Community project runs various coaching courses and part of the sponsorship deal allows spaces for our member clubs to attend these sessions at cost price and gain experience from a the professionals at Ipswich Town Football Club.
We are also working closely with Mr. Brooks team, to help our clubs attend First Aid courses to treat sports injuries, rather than using the bucket and sponge approach that is often seen on Sunday mornings.
The Community project also has a number of young referees attached to their programme, and therefore the partnership should see these referees soon officiating in our League.
