COUNTY CUP – ROUND 3

Ashby Ivanhoe and Aylestone Park 94 needed extra time to determine the winner, after it ended 1-1 after 90 minutes. Aylestone ’94 progressing to the semi final stage after a 4-2 victory. Macauley Anthony (3) and Josh MacCameron with the goals. George Clamp and Kerr Horn replying for Ashby. Blaby & Whetstone Athletic went out 8-1 to Hinckley United with Alex Rhoades getting Blabys’ consolation. Goals from Tom Guice (2) and Lewis Austin saw Anstey Nomads progress 3-2 at the expense of Loughborough Dynamo. Sam Hollis, Ben Stephens, Brady Hickey, Shay Brennan and Ryan Hodkinson all scored as St Andrews saw off Aylestone Park Boys 5-4. Kieran Mackie (3) and Jacob Gil for the Boys.

NORTHERN DIVISION

With Ashby Ivanhoe in Cup action, Coalville Town moved to the top of the table, on goal difference, after a 6-1 defeat of Holwell Sports. Tom Pegg (2), Kyle Fowkes (2), Adam Windrum and Kyle Whittaker for the Ravens with Ryan Kit Geraghty grabbing Holwells’ consolation. Ibstock Uniteds’ run of good form continued as they defeated Gresley 2-1. Alex Cooper and Sam Hankin for Ibstock with Harry Hughes replying for the Moatmen.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

A treble from Josh Limbrick saw Lutterworth Athletic defeat GNG 3-0. Saffron Dynamo and Birstall United shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Cam Atkinson and Harry Thompson for Saffron with Jake Simmons and Ashley Jordan replying for Birstall.
