Bernard Finnegan Cup Final - Hylton Road Rovers 1 Worcester Lynx 3

Worcester Lynx completed a League and Cup Double by lifting the Worcester League Bernard Finnegan Cup at St George Lane tonight. In a well fought match, played in the highest sporting manner, the Sunday Division 4 champions defeated Hylton Road Rovers 3-1.

Dan Wheeler gave Lynx the lead after 10 minutes with Ian Hendrie adding a second ten minutes later. After the interval Wheeler scored again to make it 3-0 but Rovers, in their first season in the League, didn't give up and were rewarded with a strike from Vitor Bernardo. Both sides are to be congratulated for their conduct on the night and the manner in which the match was played.
