In a close encounter Swan & Helmet just edged out Thorplands United Reserves by the odd goal in five. Louis Mansfield and Steve Brown did the business for Thorplands while a Nick Renda two-some plus an own goal accounted for the victor?s strikes. Neil Jarrett was Cotton Hill?s hero as they inflicted a 7-2 defeat on Harlequins Reserves. He hit the back of the net on no less than four occasions to go with solo efforts from Chris Cowdell, Andy Hopkinson and Ricky Knight.
