UNQUALIFIED PLAYER USED

Subsequent to the League Cup Final it was found that Bronte Wanderers had used a player who was not qualified to play in the game against Silsden. The player had only played five games prior to the semi-final and therefore did not play in that game. He did not therefore qualify for the final either. Bronte Wanderers was warned about this but hard evidence was not available to the League on the night.
An additinal game between Sandy Lane Jrs and Bronte Wanderers was reported to have been played the same day as the semi-final. This would have qualified the player for the final. However this game never took place.
The League has therefore eliminated Bronte Wanderers from the competition and awarded the winning spot to Silsden AFC Juniors.
