In accordance with the guidelines issued by the FA for Youth Leagues and agreed at the 2016 AGM will be running a “Trophy Event” for all U7 to U11 teams between 8th January and 9th April 2017.

U7, U8, U9, U10 Age Groups

• 1 Team Clubs – will be placed in a “Single Team Group” (Group C)
• 2 Team Clubs – will be placed in a “2 Team Group” (Group A/AA or B/BB)
• 3 Team Clubs - 2 teams will be placed in a “2 Team Group”, 3rd team in a “Single Team Group”
• All Teams will be scheduled a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 7 fixtures.
• All 2 Team clubs will be scheduled fixtures either Home or Away on the same Sunday
• U8 and U10 Age Groups will play fixtures from 8th Jan alternate weeks until 2nd April
• U7 and U9 Age Groups will play fixtures from 15th Jan alternate weeks until 9th April
• The league will collate results and 2 teams from each of the 20 groups will be invited to the “Trophy Event Finals Day” on Sunday 30th April.

U11 Age Group
• All Teams will be placed in 4 groups based on results of fixtures played Sep to Dec
• All Teams will be scheduled a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 7 fixtures.
• U11 Age Group will play fixtures as from 8th January alternate weeks until 2nd April
• The league will collate results and 2 teams from each of the 4 groups will be invited to the “Trophy Event Finals Day” on Sunday 30th April.

The league are not permitted by the FA to publish league tables, but results will be published.

A copy of the Trophy Event rules has been emailed to all Club Secretaries and Team Managers separately.
