Blaby and Whetstone Athletic finish season on an high.

Blaby and Whetstone Athletic added the Beacon Bitter Cup to the Leicestershire and Rutland County FA Jelson Homes Senior Cup with an impressive 2-1 defeat of 3rd placed Hinckley Downes to finish their season on an high. Leading scorer, Asman, hit a brace in the 1st 30 minutes to give Blaby control of a tight encounter, which increased his tally to 17 goals. Curtis Smith reduced the arrears with a stunning free kick just before half time but were unable to find the equaliser. Downes were reduced to 10 men, late in the 2nd half for a professional foul, as they chased the game and Blaby played on the break. Downes continued to pour forward but Blaby were resolute in defence to win the cup for the 1st time in their club history.
