RHODES EBBS LEAGUE CUP

Allexton & New Parks Hawks progressed through to the next round after recording a convincing 6-1 victory over Ashby Ivanhoe Knights with Jake Newman (2), Aeran Johnson (2), Oliver Cooper and Orrin Caner Fell being the goalscorers. Kai Smalley grabbing the Knights consolation.

NORTHERN DIVISION

Anstey Nomads had a 4-1 away victory at Desford with Sam Jones, Finley Jones, Corey Armeni and Freddie Robinson scoring. Desfords’ reply coming from Jack Edwards. Heather St Johns’ Development suffered a 2-1 defeat by Gresley whose scorers were Aaron Harvey and Brad Bradford. Heathers’ goal coming from Louie Jarvis. Mansfield Town had an emphatic 9-0 victory over Coalville Town Ravens with Tom Gledhill (4), Tom Sharpe (2), Ryan Ingram, Kian Sketchley and Dominic Baker all scoring.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

Allexton & New Parks JFC put one hand on the Divisional title after defeating Harborough Town on their own patch. Kane Barrs and Taylor Carvell for Allexton with Josh King replying for Harborough. FC GNGs’ fixture with Lutterworth Athletic was abandoned after 75 minutes due to a serious injury to a GNG player with the score at the time being 1-0 to Lutterworth Athletic.

All other fixtures postponed due to the poor weather
