League Statement.

Leicester City FC.

Following discussions with our sponsors Everards Brewery, the League has decided to postpone the planned Beacon Hill Cup fixtures that were due to take place tomorrow night, Tuesday 30th October 2018.

This decision has been taken as a mark of respect to those who tragically lost their lives in the helicopter crash at the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening.

The thoughts and prayers of the Committee, sponsors and member clubs, many of whom are passionate supporters of our local Premier League club, are with the families of those who died in this tragic event, and also the staff and families of Leicester City FC tragically affected at this sorrowful time.

As a mark of respect, our member clubs have been asked to hold a period of silence at all Leicestershire Senior League fixtures this weekend.

New dates for the Beacon Hill Cup fixtures shall be released later this week.
