In the first twelve minutes, North Warnborough were 2-0 up against Hampshire Irons in the North Hants Senior Cup round 1 on Sunday with Ryan Thorpe and Tom Lucas opened the scoring for Borough. By half time, though, Irons had struck back twice to level and, shortly into the second half took the lead 2-3, all three goals from James Macintosh. Boro fought back, levelling with a second goal by Lucas. Sullivan Fofane pushed Boro into the lead again on 70 minutes before the hosts secured a 5-3 victory on 75 minutes when Tom Lucas completed his hat-trick.

Brookvale United were 1-0 down after only a minute but had a great chance to level after 10 minutes when Sam Mosdell had his shot well saved. It was 4-0 at half time to last season's unbeaten champions of Winchester, AFC Allbrook. Veteran goal machine Stuart Jarvis returned from a recent knee op and two-year absence to find the net for ‘Vale and Sam Mosdell scored after a determined run and rounding the keeper. They were only consolation goals, however, as the Winchester side ran out 10-2 winners.

Republic of Chineham won 3-5 at Andover Robins with Andre Brown netting a brace, Ben Nicholls, Ali Brown and Zac Reynolds completing the scoring.

Bramley United's match against Abbots Ann Eagles was postponed as the Andover club couldn’t raise a team.

Eastrop Eagles lost 1-4 to FC Wildebeest, with Kirk Smith converting a consolation penalty.

Soldiers Return were a goal down against the run of play, 25 minutes into their match at Rising Sun Winchester. Josh Lowther equalised for Soldiers just before half-time. The hosts edged ahead early in the second half in an evenly matched game of few chances, so it was only a scramble in the 85th minute that Lowther levelled with his second goal. The match was settled on penalties, 1-3 to Soldiers Return.

Chineham travelled to Thruxton to play The Welcome Stranger, looking to make it three wins on the bounce. Chineham dominated play, a pass from Daryl Goater unravelled the opposition defence to find Christopher Dobbie, whose low cross was converted 0-1 by Sam Ashton. With Chineham in the ascendency, the hosts went 0-2 after Dobbie was put through by Adam Nelson. Dobbie played another low cross from the left to find Kieran Alleyne who made it 0-3 by half-time. Chineham continued to press, Dobbie finding the net again. Chineham were awarded two penalties and Dan Greenwood converted both for a comfortable 0-6 win.

Five goals from Matt Kelly helped AFC Basing beat Andover Galaxy 8-3 in the North Hants Chris Price Cup, with further goals from Ryan Bennett, Adam Gough and Jay Stephens.

Camrose Social went one better, with a 9-3 win over Andover Royals. Luke Miles and Ryan Lupton scored braces, Matthew Foreman a hat-trick, with Chris Waller and Ryan Upton getting singles.

AFC Laarsens narrowly lost 2-1 at FC TwentyTwo Reserves, with Dan Bloma on the scoresheet.

Chineham Cavaliers travelled to FC Wildebeest Reserves and pulled off a 2-4 victory.

In an all-local tie, Kempshott entertained South Ham Saints, with goals from Connor Craig and Cody Burns giving the hosts a 2-0 half-time lead. Second half goals from Luke Ambrose, Jordan Clear, Jack Sedgwick and Cody Burns, to complete his brace, ensured a Kempshott victory 6-1. Reece Liggins scored for South Ham Saints.

Only eight men started for New Park Rangers at home to Vernham Royals and, although they were up to a bare 11 for the rest of the match soon after kick off, they never got into their stride and were 0-3 behind at the interval. Although Rangers pulled back to 3-4, through a Simon Harrison brace and Andy Harrison strike, they were again three goal in arrears before Dylan Bardell netted for a final score of 4-6.

Shallow End did well to finish 3-3 away at Pharmasol Aytons, but after a mammoth penalty shoot-out lost 8-7.

Chineham Reserves joined the second round draw with a 0-4 win at Station Athletic, with Josh Dickens, Alex Izzo brace and substitute Tyler Andrews on the scoresheet.
