The first 21 minutes held the key to the destination of the Beitler Cup. After scoring three times, it was a case of defending this big lead and not making mistakes. It was a credit to both teams that a game still took place thereafter but no surprise when the fourth goal went in shortly after the break to seal the win and first ever trophy for Sibthorpe.

In front of an enthusiastic crowd, some hoped for a Little Heath goal, but a mixture of resolute defending and luckless attacking kept the underdogs at bay.
