COUNTY CUP

Harborough Town defeated Blaby & Whetstone Athletic 4-2 with Alfie Harris and James Lawton both bagging a pair. Blabys’ replies coming from Regan Lawrence and Sam Shenton. Heather St Johns’ Development hosted Allexton & New Parks Eagles and went through virtue of a 3-1 score line. Leighton Storer, Joe Goodwin and Ben Marshall for Heather with the Eagles goal coming via Jackson Parkin. Allexton & New Parks Hawks travelled to face Leicester Nirvana and went through 4-3. George Patterson, Aeran Johnson, Orrin Caner Fell and Jay Broome for the Hawks with Nirvanas’ goals coming from Dion Potter, Rahul Parmar and an own goal. Anstey Nomads had a 2-1 victory over Coalville Town Ravens with Sam James and George Marvell scoring. The Ravens reply coming from Ollie Yeomans.

NORTHERN DIVISION

Ashby Ivanhoe Knights suffered a heavy 6-0 defeat at the hands of Gresley, with Alex Potts (3), Jake McIntosh, Harry Collins and Tom Derbyshire scoring for the Moatmen. Mansfield Town hosted Desford and gained the points in a 3-0 victory with Ryan Ingram (2) and Ricco Spencer scoring.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

Aylestone Park had a 5-2 victory over Oadby Owls thanks to goals from Corey Holdom (2), Kaine Duncan, Jared Bradshaw and Matthew Chaddaway with the Owls Jordan Clarke bagging himself a brace. GNGs’ Garwinder Bangh was the hero of the night as his lone goal was enough to defeat Lutterworth Athletic 1-0.
