Except where other provisions in these rules are made, the rules of Association Football and Soccer Zone Sixes will apply.

DISCIPLINE

Any player who is sent off in a Cup game will not be allowed play in any other games on that night.

INITIAL GROUPS

Teams will be split into four groups of four.

Each team will play each other giving three group games for each side.

The four Group Winners with the best Qualifying record will then progress to the Semi Finals.

All matches from the Semi Finals onwards are straight knockout.

SEMI FINALS

The winner from Group A will play the winner from Group C and the winner from Group B will play the winner from Group D Four in two semi finals.

FINAL

The winners of the semi finals will then contest the final.


In the group stages ties will be decided by:-

1. Goal difference

2. Goals scored

3. Result of games played against each other.

In the Semi Finals if scores are level after normal time, a penalty shoot out will decide the outcome. Each side will take 3 penalties. If there is still no result then sudden death will decide the winner.

If the scores are level in the Final at the end of normal time, a three minute golden goal period will be played. If the game is not decided in this period then the penalty shoot out used in the Semi Finals will come into play.

All games will last 10 minutes one way with allowances made for stoppages as per the normal rules.

On Cup week’s time keeping is vitally important. Any team turning up late will forfeit the game 2-0. No exceptions can be made to this rule.
