For the first time in almost a month, the Senior League managed a full programme.

For the first time in almost a month, the Senior League managed to get a full programme played and leaders Stapenhill ground out a 0-1 away win at bottom placed Rothley Imps after Jim McCarron netted the only goal during the 1st half.

Challengers Thurnby Rangers maintained the heat with a 1-5 away win at Ellistown where Ronnie White hit a double but the remainder of the top 6 all exchanged places.

Barrow Town moved up into 3rd spot after a 2-0 defeat of Blaby and Whetstone Athletic and Kirby Muxloe moved into 4th spot after a Marc Schulz hat trick inspired a 5-1 defeat of Bardon Hill, who retained 6th spot despite 2 successive defeats.

Ibstock Utd dropped 2 places to 5th after their 4-0 defeat at Holwell Sports, Graham Keast netted a double to help the Sports consolidate a mid table berth alongside both St Andrews and Birstall Utd after Birstall defeated the Andrews 2-0 at home.

At the bottom of the table, 3 of the bottom 6 posted victories with Ratby Sports notching a 6 pointer with a 2-3 away win at Downes Sports who had Nick Moore score a couple as they slipped to their 9th successive defeat. Aylestone Park made it 2 wins on the spin with a 0-1 away win at Thurmaston Town and Anstey Nomads made it 2 successive wins, to move out of the bottom 6 at the expense of Ellistown, in their 6 pointer with Highfield Rangers, after the 1-3 victory left the Rangers in the bottom 3.
