Situation explained

Birley Spa played 2 players without ID cards in 3 fixtures and were charged for this offence. They were initially fined £150 with the games in question awarded to their opponents and a further 6 points deducted due to the number of occasions it occurred. At an appeal held by the County FA, the extra 6 points was removed from the sanction imposed.
A further charge, relating to the first game of the season, is still to be heard by the League discipline committee, which was placed on hold due to the appeal.
The League table is currently correct, and no further comment will be made by the League regarding this.
