DRAYTON START THEIR CAMPAIGN WITH A WIN !
Frank Parker went top of BOND STREET TROPHIES PREMIER LEAGUE after securing a 2-0 win over Griff and Coton Manor, Ryan Slinn and Kyle Crawford with the goals. Drayton started their campaign with a victory over Bedworth Bank, 2 from Lewis Commins and a Jack Bonell strike enough to see them home 3-1, Connor Corden replied for Bank.
Goals for Matthew Hart, Jack Hilton and Dave Ison ensured Ambleside of their first win of the season as they saw off Poplar Athletic 3-1. Dan Harris scored for The Pop.
Haunchwood Sports came out 4-3 winners to remain top of league 1 in a close encounter in LEAGUE ONE with Coniston Tavern, Jack Webb, Simeon Townsend, Oli Hawker and Ash Newitt with the Haunchwood goals, Antonio Williams, James Sidwell and Kieron Brehon replied for Coniston.
Dylan Patel and Martin Heywood scored for Ambleside Reserves but goals from Michael Saddler and Reece Rawlings for Royal Trent ensured a 2-2 share of the spoils. Chetwynd Phoenix and Attleborough Royal Oak also drew 2-2 with Chetwynd goals from Daniel Davies and Daniel Law. Henley Hadley and Danny Edmunds scored for The Oak.
Desford-Caterpillar started their season with a 2-1 win over Bedworth Liberal thanks to goals from James Pye and Chris Neal. Will Roe replied for The Libs. Hearty Goodfellow beat Barwell Cricketers 2-1 thanks to goals from Craig Ashby and Rio Ginnelly. Connor Beasley scored for the Barwell side.
Athletico Duke kept up their impressive form with a 9-1 demolition of Acorn in MARK BLAIR FINANCE LEAGUE TWO. A Jack Joyce hat-trick, Joe Scott brace and singles from Owen Green, Marley Henry, Braydon York and Harry Wileman with The Duke goals. Josh Higham scored the Acorn consolation.
Grendon were reduced to 10 men early on but still ran out 4-1 winners over Bedworth Ex-Servicemen's, a Jack Barter hat-trick and single for Jack Field with the Grendon goals, Bailey Grant replied for The Servicemen.
Swan Dive made it 3 out of 3 with a solid 8-0 win over Sunnyside thanks to 4 goals from Asif Raja and singles for Santosh Gurung, Ash Gilder, Rhys Dainty and Ahmed Kamara.
Travs beat Bermuda Park 5-3 with goals from a Michael Hutchinson brace, Richard Horsfall, Tom Croft and Ben Croft. The Bermuda goals were scored by Lewis Davis, Reece Grant and Steven Pywell. Witherley United Reserves picked up 3 points vs Conny United. Conny goals coming from Zain Bray and Connor Wainwright.
Newdigate United kept up their fine form with a 5-2 win over Anchor Inn Hartshill in NUNEATON TROPHIES LEAGUE THREE. Braces from Tom Noon and Zak Phillimore and a single from Bradley Gibson-Hill was enough to keep the new boys unbeaten. Matthew Phelps and Matthew Lynch replied for Anchor.
SS Bulls Head also remain unbeaten thanks to a 4-1 win over Bedworth Liberal Reserves. 2 from Josh Atkinson and Frank Goodyear and Martin Beynon singles with the Sapcote sides goals.
A penalty from Danny Winterbotham, 2 from Riley Poxon and a Luke Newton strike saw Rumour Mill (Barwell) return to winning ways with a 4-0 win over Lamb and Flag.
Hinckley Wanderers hit 7 vs Attleborough Royal Oak Reserves. 2 from Dean Croasdale and strikes from James Bolton, Mitch Elson, Kobi Jones, Danny Hounslea and Jamie Roe with the goals. The Attleborough consolation was scored by Mark Brown.
Attleborough Sports picked up their first win with a 4-2 win over Earl Shilton Town, Taylor Wallbank and Steve Thomas with 2 each. Maverick Martin hit both the Shilton goals.
Hearty Goodfellow Reserves and Griff and Coton Manor Reserves drew 3-3 with Hearty goals coming from Matthew Deacon, Joshua Wilks and Robert Clarke. The Griff goals were scored by 2 from Adam Bourne and Ewan Thay.
Weddington Social picked up 3 points after beating Bedworth Bank Reserves 7-2. A Gareth Orr hat-Trick and Codie Carpenter brace backed up with goals for Dean Cooke and Ewan Davies with the Weddy goals. Liam Roberts and Zak Bhara replied for Bank.
