Real were clearly ready to put Thursday nights dissapointment behind them.Having fought out a 2-2 draw with Avonvale in the League on Saturday Manager Andy Wilson knew what was nescessary to win the game.Real started brightly with Olly Taylor controlling midfield with Danny Pugh,Andy Porter and Henry Rogers.
Avonvale were looking tired after 20 minutes but Real could not make a breakthrough despite the pressure they were putting them under.
The Real back four of McAleer,Morse,Williams and Edgell were never troubled in the second half and the deadlock was finally broken when John Newton found an opening to give Real the lead.After that Real created several chances to make the game safe before Baker turned two Avonvale before slotting home the second goal.
