COUNTY CUP

This seasons’ Final will be between Heather St Johns’ Development and Leicester Road as both overcame tricky Semi Final ties. Heather defeated Allexton & New Parks 2-1 with Leighton Storer and Jake McLeary scoring. Allextons’ reply coming from Mason Yates. Leicester Road had a convincing 6-0 victory over Hinckley AFC.
This season’s Final will be held at Holmes Park on Wednesday 7th March 2018.

NORTHERN DIVISION

Allexton & New Parks Hawks extended their lead at the top of the table, albeit having played more games, with a 2-0 defeat of Gresley with Joseph Smalley grabbing both goals.

All other fixtures were postponed due to the weather

SOUTHERN DIVISION

With Allexton & New Parks on Cup duty, Aylestone Park moved to the top of the table after recording a 5-0 victory over Blaby & Whetstone Athletic with Matthew Chadaway, Corey Holdom, Finley Troup, Yaro Phillips and Jake Wormleighton amongst the goals. Friar Lane & Epworth had a 1-0 home victory over FC GNG with Thomas Deacon grabbing the all important goal. Lutterworth Athletic and Carib Sports & Social shared the points in a 3-3 draw. Will Blockley, Morgan Thomas and Jamie Ward on target for the Athos with Amil Master, Joel Nuamah and an own goal replying for Carib.
