RHODES EBBS LEAGUE CUP

Oadby Owls will take on Anstey Nomads in this seasons’ Final after both overcame tricky opposition in their respective Semis.

Oadby had a 3-2 victory over Mansfield Town with Alfie Bexon (2) and Harry Washington getting on the score sheet. The Stags’ replies both coming from Leighton Platts.

Anstey had an emphatic 8-0 victory over Gresley with Finley Jones (3), Szymon Donnerstag (2), Corey Armeni, Josh Clarke and Freddie Robinson all scoring.

The date and venue are yet to be confirmed as the League await replies from clubs

NORTHERN DIVISION

With both Anstey and Gresley on Cup duty, Allexton & New Parks moved to the top of the table with a 2-1 victory over fellow title contenders, Heather St Johns’ Development. Guillaume Preston and Aeran Johnson with the goals for Allexton and Callum Sowah for Heather.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

Goals from Bashir Dassu, Humza Patel, Jamil Houmod and Tariq Elmousfir saw Leicester Nirvana to a comfortable 4-0 victory over Lutterworth Town.
Lutterworth Athletic kept their title hopes afloat with a 4-1 victory over Blaby & Whetstone. Tesfa Matthew (2), Callum Stuart and Jamie Ward scoring for the Athos with Brandon Beardsmore replying for Blaby.
