JOE LYNAM CUP FINAL

The Joe Lynam Cup Final was contested on friday night, between the holders and league leaders Rainbow International, and Pinxton MW. It was always going to be a tightly contested affair, but after a sending of for Rainbow, Pinxtons Darren Bettison scored what proved to be the winner to secure the Joe Lynam Cup.

Many Thanks to all that attended a game that very nearly did not go ahead, due to a cancellation at Alfreton Towns ground until the quick thinking of both teams to reorganise the game at Kimberley Towns ground. Thanks also go to kimberley town staff who managed to do a great job after only 4 hours notice to hold a final which produced an attendence of over 200.
