Clubs are failing to comply with League rules for match notifications
Clubs are failing to comply with the requirements of League Rule 10 (D) in regards of providing notification to opponents and match officials of fixture details.
The Rule states
The Secretary of the Home Club must give notice of full particulars of the location of, and access to, the ground and time of kick off to the match officials and the Secretary of the opposing Club at least three clear days prior to the playing of the match. The away Club shall seek and acknowledge receipt of such particulars.
Any Club failing to comply with this Rule shall be liable to a fine of £5.00.
If your club fails to notify the match official then the official may not be present on the day to referee your clubs match. This has happened already several times this season and clubs then ask why did the official not turn up the answer rests with you as Club Secretary.
Away Clubs have the same responsibility as Home Clubs to confirm matches.
Clubs are reminded that if there is not an appointed match official present when the match is scheduled to kick off then the Clubs MUST agree someone to referee the fixture.
There are NO excuses for poor administration and none will be accepted by the League.
