MATCH DAY 20 (JANUARY 14th 2024) REPORT.

ONLY 3 POINTS SEPERATES TOP SIX IN PREMIER LEAGUE !
Wykin Social overcame the highflying Collycroft Royal Oak as goals from Jes Adcock, Liam Storer and Jake Brown saw them claim a 3-1 win in NDSFL PREMIER LEAGUE with Olyana Ahmed on target for Collycroft.
James Harris scored a hat-trick and Landon Fairbrother the single as Poplar Athletic picked up a 4-1 win over Griff and Coton Manor. Ryan Skidmore scored for Griff.
Charlie Stockton scored the only goal of the game as Ambleside managed a win at Drayton 1-0.
Conny United were top scorers of the day in MARK BLAIR - FINANCE LEAGUE TWO as they inflicted more misery on struggling Sunnyside. The game finished 7-0 with 7 different goal scorers. George Iliffe, Jude Almey, Connor Wainwright, Dan Hendrie, Zion Bray, Jacob Pears and Luke Childs all finding the net for Conny.
Athletico Duke remain unbeaten on top of the table after a 3-1 win at Swan Dive. Will Groocock, Marley Henry and George Hextall with the Duke goals. Declan McCaulay replied for Swan Dive.
Witherley United Reserves leapfrogged in form opponents Saunders Hall to go 2nd. Jordan Coles and Aaron Watterson scored the goals to secure a 2-0 win for Witherley.
Ashby Road Sports have been enjoying a good run of form of late and that continued on Sunday as they overcame Grendon 2-1 thanks to goals from Matt Mangiante and Ross Waters. David Tonks was on target for Grendon.
Travs were on the right end of a 4-3 win against Crows Nest Sports with Freddie Wakelin netting a hat-trick and Lee Wallace’s single enough to secure the points. 2 from Liam Hill and a Danny Guise strike scoring the Crows Nest goals.
Nothing could separate Bedworth Ex-Servicemen and Bermuda Park as their game finished all square. Kielan Thackeray and Kyle Aubrey scoring for the Servicemen and Steven Pywell and Lewis Davis for Bermuda with the game ending 2-2.
Another game to end in a draw in LEAGUE TWO was the game between Phoenix United and Acorn. The game finished 1-1 with Lewis Spencer on target for Phoenix and Steven Merry for Acorn.
Newdigate United took advantage of the other top three sides losing in NUNEATON TROPHIES LEAGUE THREE as they picked up a 5-1 win over Griff and Coton Manor Reserves to go 3 points clear at the top thanks to braces from Ethan Wood and Kai Smith backed up with a single from Tom Noon. Perry Tonks scored the Griff goal.
Lamb and Flag picked up a good 2-0 win over 2nd place Hinckley Wanderers thanks to a brace from George Simmons. Another team to overcome top 3 opposition were Bedworth Liberal Reserves as they struck a late winner to leave 3rd place Rumour Mill (Barwell) with a 2-1 win. Reece Smith and Josh Stokes scoring the goals. Olly Walker was on target for Rumour Mill.
Hearty Goodfellow Reserves picked up a 3-1 win over Earl Shilton Town. Josh Wilkes scored a brace and Charlie Watts the other for Hearty. Mason Higginson scoring for Earl Shilton.
Attleborough Sports have been playing well of late and they picked up another win yesterday, beating Anchor Inn (Hartshill) 2-1. Connor Johnson and Jay Locking’s goals enough to secure the win for Attleborough. Kieran Jephcote scored the Anchor reply.
Congratulations to NDSFL side Barwell Cricketers who booked a place in the semi final of the Leicestershire County Sunday Intermediate Cup. They beat Gilmorton 3-0 thanks to goals from Matt Pratt, Jimmy Graham and Ian McKay.
