COUNTY CUP ROUND 3

Aylestone Park 94 transferred their recent good League form into the Cup as they had an emphatic 12-3 win over Birstall United. Rob Morgan, Marshall Keenan and Macauley Anthony all hit hat tricks with the rest being made up from Justin Peace, Josh MacCameron and Hareet Deol. Birstalls scorers being Kai Gee, Liam Stafford and Jake Simmons. Ashby Ivanhoe took on Barrow Town, the top 2 in the Northern Division, and it was Ashby who came out on top winning 3-0, with Tom Nolan, James Rushton and George Rushton on target. Holwell Sports went out to Blaby & Whetstone Athletic, 2-1. Josh Seaton and Alex Rhodes for Blaby with John Uttley replying for Holwell. St Andrews went through 3-1 at the expense of Saffron Dynamo with Brady Hickey, Luay Bashir and Shay Brennan scoring. Saffrons reply coming from Chris Neal. Leicester Nirvana went out 1-0 to Loughborough Dynamo and Lutterworth Athletic went out 6-0 to Hinckley United.

Anstey Nomads and Lutterworth Athletic Academy will try again next week as the Nomads had floodlight issues.

The final fixture between Caterpillar and Aylestone Park Boys is now in the hands of County FA as Caterpillar failed to show up for their home tie.

NORTHERN DIVISION

There were no League games due to the County Cup

SOUTHERN DIVISION

Only 1 League game took place and that saw Aylestone Park Youth inflict a 4-0 defeat on GNG. Lamar Parkes (2), James Summers and Josh Unsworth were the Youths scorers.
