Finalists for this season's Youth Plate final were resolved, victory for Neston Nomads over South Liverpool, and victory for Maghull B' over Athletico Blues.

Despite conceding two points following Saturday's 0-0 stalemate with West Kirby, South Liverpool Res. edged closer to claiming the Go2Day West Cheshire League Division Two title, and with seven games remaining, appear firmly in the driving seat. Current leaders, Mallaby, lost for the second week in succession after efforts from Runcorn Sports' Reece Dwyer and Kier Fenlon secured a 2-1 result for the third placed challengers. The visitors scored a late consolation via Evra Yao, WRITES ERNIE MCDONALD.
Marshalls Res. accounted for Aintree Villa Res. 3-2 courtesy of efforts from Sam Bowsie, Brendan N'dluvo and an own goal with Jed Kilday and Javier Lopez on target for Villa, and it was celebration time for Mossley Hill Ath. U23's who registered their ninth win of the season after they beat Neston Nomads 3-1. Division One action saw third placed FC Bootle, draw level on points with second placed Maghull, after goals from Isaac Jones, Jacob Jones and Connor Christensen secured a win 3-2 against Newton, who had two goal Liam Smith in reply. At the other end of the table, Capenhurst Villa scored through Kevin Fields, but stayed in the relegation zone, after they capitulated 3-1 to replies from Aintree Villa's Jack Bucknall, Dan Evans and Matty Wardell. Ellesmere Port Town, thanks to a Ben Summers double, finished 2-2 with Mersey Royal, who hit back via Tom Haynes and an own goal, but efforts from Junior Siyakholwa, Karl Berqvist and Rhys Maurer failed to prevent Litherland Remyca Res. from going down 4-3 at home to Marshalls. Jack Ward (2) Callum Hodgkinson and Jude Mante shared the goals for the victors. Elsewhere, efforts from Chester Nomads' Sam Spridgeon and Ben Coward were negated by replies from Rainhill Town's Ant Dunleavy and Colm Lynch.
On a sad note, Ashville Res. have tendered their resignation, and their league record to date has been expunged.
Within a span of five days, Division Three title favourites, Cammell Laird 1907 Res. consolidated their position at the top, after they beat Frodsham Park JFC 2-0, with goals from Jayden Jones and Adam Larway and on Tuesday evening, the Shipbuilders secured their passage to the Wirral District FA Amateur Cup final, when a solitary strike from Jones sealed the fate of West Kirby Res. Second placed FC Kirkby, had Liam Johnstone (2) and Charlie Bennett on the mark, but forfeited ground in the promotion race, after they lost 4-3 to Poulton Vics, who profited thanks to replies from Adil Alasaly Jones (2) Ethan Sheen and Jude Keith and that result allowed third placed challengers, Chester Nomads Res., to take closer order, following a 4-1 victory over Rainhill Town Res. whose marksman was Ian Hughes. Groves Ath. with goals from Jack Sailes and Jamie Gibbs accounted for Ellesmere Port Town U23's, who answered through Regan Riach, but goals from Jack Fletcher and Jon Pomfret were to no avail as West Kirby Res. paid the price against Heswall U23's who savoured a 3-2 triumph with Tom Davies (2) and James Hawkins finding the net.
It's still tight at the top in the Youth Division but leaders, Cammell Laird 1907 trumpeted a warning to their nearest rivals after romping home 9-0 against Mossley Hill Ath. A Jack Gordon hat trick was supplemented by further efforts from Teddy Galer (2) Dennis Baker, Dean Davies, Leo Patten and Myles Arnott.
