Rubbish is causing problems after matches
Clubs are leaving rubbish on the pitches once their games have finished, clubs are asked to please make sure that there is no bottles and cans, orange skins, tape, ties or any rubbish left behind once the game is finished. All players and spectators should be made aware that it should be collected up and brought back to the changing areas and dispensed with in rubbish bins that should be available on the site. The leaving of rubbish applies equally to the changing areas.
This rubbish does not just vanish, someone has to collect it up and if you as clubs fail to do so then the cost of hiring the facilities will inevitably rise as people will have to be employed specifically to clean up and if this happens these costs will be passed on in the shape of increase in hire charges. It is not asking too much for clubs to work on the basis that whatever they bring to the ground they take away with them at the end of every match.
In addition the consumption of alcohol and smoke at grounds and the use of foul and abusive language before, during and after matches is also to be discouraged, at Odd Down PF there are youth teams using the facilities at the same times and it is seen as setting a poor example to these younger players
Your assistance will be much appreciated as it is your League
