WEATHER TAKES ITS TOLL - ONLY 4 GAMES SURVIVE !
With another washout around the grounds, only a handful of games took place this week.
Swan Dive are the first team to book their place in the Quarter Finals of this years Tribune Cup as the avenged last week’s defeat to Grendon by beating them 3-1. Mark Bradbury, Sushant Magar and Ash Gilder on target for Swan Dive. Jack Barter scoring the Grendon goal.
In the PREMIER LEAGUE CHALLENGE TROPHY, penalties were needed to decide the tie between Frank Parker and Wykin Social, after the game ended 2-2. Liam Porter and Kyle Crawford on target for Parkers with the Wykin goals coming from Nathan Astill and Archie Gallagher. Parkers won the penalty shootout 5-3 with Kyle Crawford scoring the decisive penalty.
Barwell Cricketers were 3-0 winners in the LEAGUE ONE CHALLENGE TROPHY as they dispatched Ambleside Reserves. Jack Tibbles, Ian McKay and Rick Durose with the goals.
The weather got the better of the LEAGUE THREE CHALLENGE TROPHY match between Attleborough Sports and Weddington, with the match being abandoned at half time. The two sides will replay the fixture this weekend.
The only game to be played in League action was in MARK BLAIR FINANCE LEAGUE TWO. Bedworth Ex-Servicemen and Crows Nest Sports saw out a 2-2 draw. Goals scored by Ethan Baynham and Bailey Grant for the Servicemen with Jack Torode and Liam Hill netting for Crows Nest.
