Ronnie was not present, he thought he had let Dan know that he was not available. Meeting run by Dan Pennington (Fixture Secretary)
FIXTURES:
Dan said thanks for all those who had let him know about possible changes and where games could be slotted in. No fixture concerns apart from a possible double header for Norris Green v Meols, and The Way were waiting on confirmation about a change of date.
Dan mentioned the cup final arrangements and also explained that a few league games would go ahead on the Akeju cup final date due to fixture congestion but suggested an early KO so teams could get to the Cup final after their game to support the finalists and the competition. See below for Cup final details.
The Double Header structure was brought up as Mill Lane had played 2 DH's recently. Concern was expressed that the "normal" format was not followed and a different format was used in 2 games. Adrian from Mill Lane explained that the formats had been agreed on the day with both teams.
Dan explained that it would be best to vote in a format to be added into the constitution for next season. This can be done at the AGM.

AOB:
FA Emergency First Aid Courses - Tony from Bootle mentioned he went on the course, thought it was OK but was more emergency aid than football related injuries.
St Peters
The question was asked to clarify the St Peters issue. Dan explained that the had been asked to leave the MCL and the decision was taken by the committee after talking to all clubs in the 3rd division. Dan also explained that warnings had been given to 2 other teams about behaviour and conduct and the MCL will not tolerate bad behaviour. Dan explained that we want to grow the league but at the same time we need to stick to our beliefs and ensure that we are playing football in the right spirit.
Finally, Dan expressed that the current committee is looking for additional members for next season. If anyone is interest in a role, or would like to talk to us about joining the committee, please contact either Dan or Ron. We would like 2 additional members.
