Only one game took place in NDSFL PREMIER LEAGUE this week and ended all square as Wykin Social and Frank Parker drew 1-1. Reece Massey with the Wykin goal, Vinny Glaznieks scoring for Parker’s.
Haunchwood Sports are the only team in the entire NDSFL with a 100% record in tact, as they saw off fellow promotion chasers Barwell Cricketers 5-0.
2 goals from Oli Hawker and singles from Simeon Townsend, Dale Morris and Marcus Southwell enough to take the points in NDSFL LEAGUE ONE.
The clash of 2 Paul’s Land sides finished all square as Chetwynd Phoenix held Coniston Tavern to a 2-2 draw. Dan Davies and Sam Bircher with the Chetwynd goals. Harry Davis and Antonio Williams were on target for Coniston.
Saunders Hall go into the Christmas break level on points with league leaders Athletico Duke with only goal difference keeping them 2nd in MARK BLAIR FINANCE LEAGUE TWO in the Bedworth local derby to beat Bedworth Ex-Servicemen's 3-2.
Liam Dean, Ashley Clark and Kieran McCurley with the Saunders goals. Adam Carter and Dylan Edwards replied for Servicemen.
Ashby Road Sports continued to climb the table with a 3-2 victory against Conny United. Nick Richardson and Matt Mangiante continued their impressive goal scoring form with the other coming from Ryan Oswald. Alfie Parry and Dan Hendrie scored the Conny goals.
Witherley United Reserves sit just outside the top 3 only on goal difference but this 6-1 win over Sunnyside will be a welcome boost. Luke Taylor with a brace and singles from Evan Luke, Charlie Gilks, Ricky Luke and Martin Evans all on target for Witherley. Jagtar Mandar replied for Sunnyside.
Swan Dive were held to a share of the spoils by Phoenix United as the game ended 2-2. Declan Macaulay and Ryan Cook with Swan Dives goals, Andrew Simpson and Sam Eaton scored for Phoenix.
With the top four all not playing in NUNEATON TROPHIES LEAGUE THREE, there was a chance for teams to make some ground and Weddington Social did just that, as the eased past Anchor Inn (Hartshill) 5-0. Gareth Orr’s brace and singles from Jake Temple, Ewan Davies and Adrian Talbot scoring the Weddy goals.
However, Bedworth Bank failed to capitalise as they were beaten 2-1 by Lamb and Flag. George Simmons and Jude Barnet scoring the goals in a much needed win. Zak Bhara replied for Bank.
Alex Purkiss gave Earl Shilton Town the lead from the spot however it wasn’t enough to secure any points as Conor Johnson and Luke Betteridge found the net to complete the come back for Attleborough Sports as the game ended 2-1.
Congratulations to Collycroft Royal Oak Warriors and Rumour Mill (Barwell) who progressed in outside cup competitions.
Collycroft won 3-0 against Ambleside in the STOCKINGFORD CHARITY CUP with goals from Ky Green, Jack Burchell and Daniel Cassidy.
Rumour Mill ran out 5-3 winners over Evington First in an end to end encounter in the LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY FA SUNDAY CUP.
2 goals a piece for Joe Randle and Danny Winterbotham and a Riley Poxon header was enough to book Rumour Mill a place in the Quarter Finals.
