The only Premier Division match scheduled to take place last Saturday between Welly Old Boys and Tadley Calleva A was not played

The Welly manager Graham Jenkins is having problems with a small squad and six were unavailable attending other functions. He is hopeful all will return this week for their home match against Hook.

In Division One The two of the clubs in contention for the title, DJS Telecoms and Hampshire Irons met each other at Silchester and the 3-3 draw was a fair enough result in the end. Lee Neal found Ashley Elward a great ball across the six yard box and this put DJS a goal up in then 7th minute. Irons put on the pressure and a mistake at the back led to Alex Brown equalizing in the 25th and after taking a pass from Olly Owen , Brown scored his second for the lead. Brown then scored his third early in the second half for a 3-1 advantage. Back came DJS as they did the previous week and in the 65th a solo run and good finish by Nick Saunders had them back with chance and with two minutes left Lee Neal put away their equalizer. A 90th minute goal from Jack McKee completed his straight hat trick and so gave Hook Reserves this 3-2 win against Twentyten. It was Alan Spacagna’s side who were on top in the first half when they built up a two goal lead. Carl Pearson found the top corner of the net after five minutes and in the 41st Hook keeper Tony Foster could only half save a shot by Joe Osborne and Olly Lacey followed up to net. It took Hook until the 74th minute to pull a goal back and then it came from a penalty after Dave Mohammed was brought down and up stepped Jack McKee to convert. On came substitute Dave Mellors and in the 70th his cross was headed past keeper Adam Burridge by McKee and with time running out McKee came up with the winner, his third, following a 30 yard solo run and beating the keeper in a one on one. It is Overton United A who top the table after beating North Warnborough 2014 6-1, the third match running they have won by this score. Thee Borough youngsters held out until the 40th minute when Nathan Beenis gave United the lead and after three breakaways goals from Gus Reis, Charlie Palmer and Beenis, Borough were 4-0 down. A brief come back led to Jason Williams taking a pass from Lex Burns to reduce the arrears but Bennis competed his hat trick from a penalty and the sixth was put away by Jesse Todd.

There were just the two matches in Division Two. It was a good day for Herriard Sports, who are finding life better in this division following relegation. Last season they had just one win from their league and cup exploits and that was in February, .however this season it came after just four matches when they defeated AFC Berg 4-3. Sam Weber played Karl Buttle through for the lead after 25 minutes and then chipped another Weber pass for his second in the 24th. Berg came back strongly and after Spencer Charlton scored with a shot in off the bar, Shane West put them level when a shot by Kieran Alleyne was half saved by Doug Gray. In the 52nd Kevin Beaumont put Berg in front with a free kick, but when Spencer Kirby went off injured and Berg had no subs, Herriard cashed in with Buttle completing a straight hat trick and the winner in the 85th a breakaway and good finish by Weber sealed the points. Bounty United had the better of things against AFC Aldermaston A, beating them 4-2 away. Paul Clarke gave them an 18th minute lead with a strong left footed shot from the edge of the box. Matt Love chased a long clearance from keeper Richard Vinn to lob the second from 20 yards out. Paul Mellor replied with a deflected shot in the 43rd but right on half time Mitchell Stokes restored the two goal advantage, a half volley from a Paul Barton cross. Love scored his second with a delicate chip over the out rushing Darren Heath to make it 4-1 and the only reply from Aldermaston came with a minute to go when a free kick taken by Robin Parkinson cannoned off the wall for Tommy James to slam the ball into the net, giving Vinn no chance.
