It is with extreme sorrow to announce that Ian Kerwood passed away earlier this week.

Ian first became involved with the League in 1964 as a member of Wheatsheaf. He joined the Management Committee in 1979. He took on the role of Referee's Secretary in 1985 and Assistant Chief Secretary in 1998. In 2003 he took over as Chief Executive from John Robinson. He took on additional the role of Fixture Secretary in 2008. Ian was a dedicated member of the unsung heroes of Grassroots Football that is the bedrock of English game. He will be sorely missed. RIP.
