COUNTY CUP

Goals from Szymon Donnerstag, Corey Armeni and Finley Jones saw Anstey Nomads defeat Carib Sports & Social 3-2. Abubaker Ismael and Joel Nuamah replying for Carib. Goals from Cyrus Thompson (2) and Jack Reid were not enough as Friar Lane & Epworth were defeated 4-3 by Hinckley AFC. Ashby Ivanhoe Knights went out suffering a 6-0 defeat by Leicester Road. Shay Beeby (2), Corey Holdom and Jake Wormleighton were on target as Aylestone Park defeated Lutterworth Athletic 4-1, with Harry Linnett replying for the Athos. FC GNG had a 2-0 victory over Oadby Owls with Arish Cheema and Stuart Gjeta scoring. Goals from James Lawton (3) and Alfie Harris saw Harborough Town defeat Desford 4-1 with Jack Hilton replying for Desford.
The game between Allexton & New Parks Hawks and Heather St Johns’ Development went the full distance with the later going through 4-2 via the dreaded penalty kicks. At full time the teams were locked at 3-3 and the extra 30 minutes could still not separate them as it ended 4-4.Jake McLeary (3) and Louie Jarvis for Heather with Joseph Smalley (3) and Orrin Caner Fell for the Hawks.
The game between Ashby Ivanhoe and Allexton & New Parks was abandoned after 10 minutes due to floodlight failure and will be replayed on Wednesday 18th.
