A crowd of over 130 people in the blazing summer sun, were rewarded with a blazing Cup Final that should have been played in the 2019-20 season. AFC Tigers got off the mark quickly with two goals within 11 minutes with goals from Chris King and Lewis King. Red Lion gave themselves a chance by drawing level with goals from Tom Benham and Peter Allen to see the sides go in level at the break, The heat of the second half was sapping the play but Red Lion went ahead through Mark Abbott on 71 minutes, with the game ebbing away it was getting a desperate affair but a blinding strike by Lewis King with around 30 seconds left drew the game level again. The extra time period saw limited chances made so the game was decided on the dreaded penalty kicks that Red Lion FC held their nerve better and won 5-3 to take the trophy.
