For the first time in 2015 a virtually complete set of NAPIT LEAGUE fixtures went ahead with only a handful of games being postponed. In ONE New Whitt's survival hopes received a huge boost as goals from Jamie Saxton and Ben Townsend earned them a vital 2-0 win over Clowne Wanderers. Creswell Black Diamond were one of only four sides who were in action seven days earlier as were Tibshelf Town and when they met on Sunday the game ended goal-less.

In TWO both leaders AFC Bolsover and second placed Woodthorpe Inn won by four goals to one. Bolsover's win came at Red Lion Whitt Moor with Josh Parfitt, Gary Hulland, Daley Furness and Adam Dobbs on target. Woodthorpe beat Dronfield Victoria as the top side stay well clear of the chasing pack. At the head of that pack are Eckington Westend and they dropped two vital points as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Black Swan. Ashley Unwin and Sam Woodhead scored for Westend with two Callum Gill goals earning Swan a point. Strugglers Brampton Rovers JMA picked three priceless points thanks to an emphatic 4-0 win over Matlock Town Wanderers, Conner Roberts, Dan Brown, Steph Gill and James Roberts hitting the winning goals.

Into THREE and leaders Black Diamond Reserves took on second placed Clowne Wanderers Reserves and both sides had to settle for a point as two goals from Wanderers Simon Rodgers and one from Simon Straw were equalled by goals from Daniel Murdoch, Ian Godley and David Hall. That draw enabled New Whitt B to move above Wanderers by virtue of an impressive 5-0 win at AFC North Wingfield Dan Locke scoring two, Lewis McGuiness, one and Jack Yeomans scored the other two. Steelmelters Arms Killamarsh entertained Brampton Oak Sports and an eleven goal goal fest saw the visitors win an amazing game 7-4. The goals flew in thick and fast as Wayne Gerrity led the way for Sports, scoring twice, his efforts added to by Darren Wilkinson who also scored a couple, Derrick Miller, Tyrone Parkin and Dan Wainwright. Ark Tavern and Hollingwood Athletic drew 2-2 as did Hady Villa and Pilsley Community.

NAPIT FOUR title favorites Newbold enhanced there chances as they thrashed Harley's Scarlets 8-0. Danny Keenan definitely has an eye for goal and in this game he hit four to take his season's total to thirty. The other four came from Luke Hayward who scored twice, Danny Chapman and Conner Martin. Second placed Chesterfield Arms slipped to a 2-1 defeat against New Inn Tupton who went third as a result, Ash Crowther scoring Town's goal Max Minshull's and Kyle Green's winning it for New Inn.

FIVE's game of the day saw the top two Holmehall 1st and Brimington Utd clash in what was anticipated to be a close game. It was Holmehall who began the game brightest and went 2-0 up early on. Utd did pull a goal back before the break and fought hard to find a leveler, however it was Holmehall who put the game beyond doubt with two goals in the final five minutes, Richard Start scoring three of the winners goals. Briminwood Utd led the division early in the season but have been unable to maintain the kind of form that saw them lead the division and on Sunday they slipped to their sixth defeat of the season to a well organized Barlow Kingston Rovers side which beat them 3-1, James Thorneycroft, Scott Whitehouse and Brad Rhodes goals deciding the outcome. In contrast to Brimwood Spartans early season form left a great deal to be desired but a 4-1 win at Renishaw Rangers, their fifth win in six games, the other being drawn, has completely turned their season around. Their match winners this time out were Craig Tromans who scored twice and Chris Miles and Sean Byrne who both scored once. An amazing game at Netherthorpe between New All Inn and Old Whittington MW saw the home side take full control as they romped to a 3-0 lead in the first half hour. However Whittington's Danny Rigby put his side right back into the game before half time and when he completed his hat trick in the opening minutes of the second half it was very much game on. Minutes later however All Inn regained the lead only for Rigby to score his and his teams fourth however with just minutes remaining it was All Inn who cliched victory with a fifth.

In SIX Brampton Rovers Reserves opened up a two point advantage over second placed Fidlers Rest as a Charlie Scattergood goal earned them1-0 win over Renishaw MW Reserves as Fidlers drew 4-4 with Furnace Hill Hurricanes. Hasland Community Eagles also drew, this time with Evolution. Whist the previous games were all close affairs the same cannot be said about the tie between Hasland Wanderers and Holmehall 2nd which Wanderers won at a cantor 8-1, Craig Megyesi scoring three of the winning goals

Finally in the league in SEVEN Charlie's Clay Cross Athletic and Dronfield Town drew 2-2 whilst Ye Old Nags Head won for only the second time, goals from Anthony Pearson and two from Jack Smith beating Renishaw Rangers 3-1.

In the HUTSON cup Dave Canning added four more goals to his more than impressive CV as his Glapwell Gladiators beat Hasland WMC 5-3 after extra time, the sides being deadlocked at Zambia goal each after ninety minutes.
