Information relating to the new League Secretary Set-Up
To all Club Secretary’s
Dear Sir/Madam,
Season 2019-20
I am pleased to advise you all that as from October 1st the new Secretarial team are in full control of the running of the League after a few weeks of panic etc, on behalf of the League I offer my sincere apologies for all the problems we have incurred with all these new F A systems which were thrust upon us at very short notice, when the League Management Committee met with the North Riding CFA officials on May 20th, we as a Committee agreed that prior to these systems being implemented, the League would hold a further meeting with all Club’s represented to be addressed by the NRCFA officials, this meeting would then decide if we would adopt it or not and this meeting would take place prior to our AGM on June 18th, just to make matters worse the key person at NRCFA left early June, I can only repeat how sorry I am for all the additional concerns and worry this has all caused.
Starting from October 1st we now have the following:
Andy Rouph as General Secretary, his telephone no is 07854 416379 and his email address is: andy@wsme.co.uk
Andy Paine as Registration Secretary including Transfers and web-site, his telephone no is 07368 379245 and his email address is: andyp@wsme.co.uk
Keith Sales is Chairman and Fixture Secretary, his telephone number is 01751 473348 or 07799508159 and his email address is: keith.sales185@btinternet.com
Andrew Stanton is Treasurer, further details to follow
Keith Sales is also our Press Officer, please send your match reports to include goal scorers in order, and Man of the Match winner plus his position as soon as you can but no later than 6pm on the Sunday after a game, when your team play in either a County or District FA Cup Competition can you also make sure he gets your information, if the result does not go onto the FA Full time Beckett League site, can you let him have the result on a Saturday evening so all results can appear in Monday’s Yorkshire Port, Northern Echo, and York Press, his Press deadlines are getting earlier with job cuts etc so all the help you give him is all the better for the League.
The Referee situation appears to be getting harder so please make sure you have a whistle in your First Aid bag.
Finally, let’s all move forward and hope for much smoother and happier times ahead, and most of all enjoy the season ahead.
Yours in Sport,
Andrew Rouph
